Ted Cruz's strategy - Make sure Hillary wins and the people will be ready for Cruz
News | 21 September 2016 | Mene Mene Tekel Upharsin

Ted Cruz must have a strategy of dividing the Republican Party (with full support of the Republican Oligarchs behind the scenes) to make sure Hillary wins because of the division. Somehow they are determining that Trump is not going to run again in 2020 and Cruz will then seek the nomination.

With the absolute mess that Hillary will make, Cruz will be seen as the only solution by the conservative side. Good strategy, but not good for the country.

He is a sociopath.

Destroy the country to fulfill his fantasy. He needs to leave the stage and take his freaky wife with him.

I don’t get it. From the speech when everybody was booing:

“And to those listening, please, don’t stay home in November. Stand, and speak, and vote your conscience, vote for candidates up and down the ticket who you trust to defend our freedom and to be faithful to the Constitution.”

I mean, doesn’t the second sentence encapsulate the very core of Donald Trump? Donald, the deep Constitutional thinker that is in alignment with Madison, Locke, Buckley, Kirk, etc.?

One who has exemplified the military knowledge of Cincinnatus, Lee, Sun Tzu, Leonidas, etc.?

One who’s vows and commitments are unbreakable because of his honor? Ivana, Marla, creditors, university students, etc.?

Surely he was talking about Donald.

“Vote you conscience” was the rally cry of the NeverTrump movement and the term used to try to block Trump's nomination.

As such it has a specific anti trump meaning.

And Cruz thinks Trump voters will forget about his refusal to honor
his pledge and vote for him in 2020?

Fat chance.

I agree. All conservative organizations and people of any influence will be targeted and neutralized in one way or another. A mass invasion of muslims and any foreign friendlies will ensue. There will be no way to elect a Republican even if you wanted to.

But, wasn't Cruz referring to Trump in the sentence I highlighted? Why would anybody question Cruz on who he was talking about?

Of course he wasn't, but he used to weasel words to try to try to establish some sort of plausible deniability. Don't we get enough of this tactic from the Clintons?

If he was referring to Trump, why didn't he use his name?

Since my vanity was removed I now post my analysis iof last nights events here.

Ted Cruz the AV Geek was invited to the big Football party with the team and the cheerleaders and instead of acting cool and making nice he got drunk, pooped in his pants, pissed on the rug, threw up on the head cheerleader and groped the family dog.

Ted Cruz.: The new Tim Misney. Doing wills and chasing ambulances for a career.

I believe that if Hellery wins, the Republican party is DEAD.

I''ll go you one further; if Hillary wins, the whole country may be dead.

So many ideologues on the Right think they are ‘conservative’ or ‘conservatives’.

But they are NOT.

A Kirkian conservative NEVER would have went to Iraq for nation-building, but the GOP (and Dems) went there anyway to build utopia in the form of a representative government.

It’s IDEOLOGY that is killing the conservative movement and allowing the Dems to yank the country so hard to the Left that it will eventually have to end in CW2 as the country is simply to large and diverse culturally to exist with only ONE government.

Prudent, but courageous, effective small steps to move the Overton window slowly and assuredly to the middle and then eventually right of center.

Cruz, Levin, and many others are IDEOLOGUES and would rather FEEL GOOD with their wealth in their ‘Scrooge McDuck Money Swim’ than truly do the necessary hard and patient work to build the country back.

It's a losing strategy for two reasons.

Hillary will put the final nails into the coffin of America by allowing mass immigration to bolster Democrat voter rolls without regard to their citizenship status. Thus eliminating the chances of any Republican ever being elected to any national office, and perhaps the majority of local ones as well.

Ted Cruz has the personality of a rock. He has no appeal beyond those with a certain mindset, and locked only into that mindset. Most people will support the choice of their party, or vote for the other candidate. As he proved this time, he can't even win within his own party.

He lost focus on the importance of the presidency when he made this personal. We can’t afford to have someone at the helm who can be distracted.

“Why would anybody question Cruz on who he was talking about?”

Who believes anything Ted Cruz says today? Ted Cruz has gotten his feelings hurt and our Country and the Constitution be damned: Ted Cruz has hurt feelings.

Not just the GOP — the country. A rerun of the warren court, for generations. Kiss all your constitutional rights goodbye. Hillary will be able to exercise unchecked power.

I think it's because he thinks conservatives will be so dissatisfied with Trump that he can swoop in in 2020. First off, though Cruz's reputation is shot. He's done.

But he's way off base anyway because conservatives won't be dissatisfied. Trump has the most conservative platform ever. Ever. His Supreme Court judge list is solid. Overturning the Johnson Amendment? Pow! Amnesty? No! Business? Yes!

Conservatives will love Trump after four years.

A few sentences in his speech made me think he was saying that when he stands before God, he wants to be able to say he stayed true to his values and wasn’t tempted to sway from his values by giving in and showing support for Trump whose values he sees as different then his. Personally I think it was the devil on his shoulder that kept Cruz from humbling himself and performing an act of forgiveness by supporting Trump and fighting to defeat the Hildabeast. I do think he’s lost those of us who earlier were Trump/Cruz supporters.
