Can I nominate Sarah Palin for Secretary of Defense?

After the amazing job she did to the oil companies while in ALaska, I think she is in the short list for Sec of Energy.

Mama Grizzly is not “an idiot,” noob. Without her, Juan McLame would have lost by an even greater margin than he did.

Is Press Secretary beneath Newt’s level of expertise?

Jesus Pete and Christ Almighty. Please dont be idiots. Allocate our resources well.

Replace Mangyna Kelly with Palin. Simple. Easy Peasy Japanesey.

Her strength is also her weakness. Capitalize on it.

“secretary of government downsizing”

“According to Newt the position he wants is something similar.”

They should have a grand reorganization of the Government.

That would be a wonderfully complex playground for an idea man like Newt.

Streamline all the Departments and Agencies into just a few - as outlined by the functions in the Constitution (State, Defense, Treasury, Justice, Commerce).

A reorg is is the perfect opportunity to downsize and get rid of dead wood.

Task them to re-engineer their processes against a new set of metrics - make all their functions constantly faster, cheaper and easier. Give them mandatory goals to reduce regulations, and make them all sunset if they are not supported by cost/benefit analysis.

Heh, anecdotal remembrance, the actor that played Luca Brasi was for real Mafia connected. So was the fat one that slept in the basement that showed Al Pacino’s character how to shoot.

“K.T. McFarland for Sec of State !!!”

Ambassador John Bolton has been discussed for Sec State for a long time.

LTG Flynn might go to DCI or CIA.

Christie/Guiliani for Attorney General and Homeland Security.

Ben Carson for Surgeon General, Education, or HHS.

Ted Cruz for the Supreme Court.

DOE has an important role to play in the upgrade of the nukes. And a ton of work undoing the Kenyan’s energy policies.

I was a GowdyGowdy fan for quite some time, but he never achieved anything more than talk... talk... talk.

Trump is a "doer" and will only hire people who are achievers, not bull-shiffers. :-)

Christie’s best attribute, other than an experienced Federal Prosecutor, is that he doesn’t take prisoners. He’s ruthless. We saw that a couple of times in the debates. He’s a street fighter like Trump.

This is a story designed to ameliorate the fact that Hillary is already promising jobs to major donors.

Geez man, take the 2x4 off your shoulder, take a deep breath, and get a grip...

Well, your D**k is bigger than mine. Congrats. Also, she is an idiot. I’m not brainwashed. SHE IS AN IDIOT.

Nice way to start a reply. Very good way to make friends and influence opponents. You are really showing us how sharp you are, and how conservative you think.

When did you join up here? Wasn't it a month or two ago? Amazing that we made it all these years here without the benefit of your piercing insight.

What did you do? You think my field isn’t “clean?” What do you mean by that? That I’m making sure poor cities don’t get screwed over by the federal government? I go to work every day with a big freakin’ smile on my face. I make sure 156 water and wastewater plants in 32 states don’t get fined by OSHA and EPA. So that those costs don’t get passed to you - the taxpayer. So what do you do?

Well, good for you. It is good to enjoy what you do. Perhaps you need more recognition, though, so you don't have to boast and brag here.

As for me, that is really none of your business what I do now nor is it pertinent. I merely said that I used to work in the environmental field; I don't anymore. I used to be a hydrogeologist, in the oil industry and as a consultant. I left years ago, as I got tired of the constant lawsuits; having to work with crooked and corrupt lawyers on both sides, and work against corrupt and ignorant regulators and judges. It is all about money, not the environment. (What a surprise, right?)

My "clean" comment was in regards to having to associate with all the corrupt lawyers, judges and regulators that infest the field. Had nothing to do with the actual work. It is all about crippling industry and lining the government's and lawyer's pockets.

You are starting out with a bang here on Free Republic...
