Georgia has ruled that 'upskirting' is legal after a grocery store employee caught taking video up a woman's skirt had his conviction overruled. Publix employee Brandon Lee Gary was caught on surveillance footage using his cellphone to record up a customer's skirt as she browsed the aisles. [snip] in court his lawyers argued that under the exact wording of the Invasion of Privacy Act, the woman was in a public grocery store and so was not entitled to a reasonable expectation of privacy - even though the parts of her being filmed were covered by a skirt.

Comment: Maybe I'm just old fashioned, but I think our society was a lot better off when we wouldn't have waited on some court ruling and a couple of honorable gentlemen would have just given this pervert a good thrashing.

Maybe I am old fashioned but if that happened to my wife or daughter there would be no need for a judge. The guy might need a doctor or two to sew his head back on but that would be the end of it.

My thoughts exactly. If the guy did this to my wife or daughter, he would have the reasonable expectation of getting his butt kicked. If I couldn't get it done, my sons certainly could and would have less mercy than I might.
What, exactly, was this woman thinking shopping at Publix? Obviously it was going to end bad.
Early in my Navy hitch I was assigned extra duty one Saturday working at the commissary. A fellow sailor told me to volunteer to keep the milk case stocked because you could see up the women’s dresses. He said “I don’t know how it works but for some reason you can see everything.” He was not wrong! I’m such a better man than I was then.

That did actually happen. Not sure if you knew that or was being sarcastic....but true story.
Funny! Now days you don’t have to look far to see all you want to see. I saw some teens in a Chick Fil A today with extremely short shorts on. Did not leave much to the imagination. It bothers me when parents let their kids dress like that.
The judged should be charged with malfeasance and locked up for 10 years.
