It is that fear of being labeled like Hitler - deeming a certain population as “less” or dangerous.

If I wanted to sum up the entire post-war era I think I would just say that “it is that fear of being labeled like Hitler - deeming a certain population as “less” or dangerous.”

And not just for Germany but the entire west.

Without reading the thread, the first prima donna is Hilary Rodham Clinton who demands all kinds of perks when she travels anywhere. Doo you all remember her gold bathroom on wheels that she took to China when she and Chelsea and her mom were touring the world in order to keep away from Bill?

I have been following a retired teacher’s FB posts this week. She posted one that said how she fell in love with Obama at his first convention and she STILL loves him today. Then she posted how wonderful it will be with Hillary as president. She goes to my church and I cannot fathom her. I just checked in on her today to see that she pulled her two posts....probably because someone slammed her for her idiocy and she always takes them down when that happens. She does not tolerate opinions that differ from hers. And I missed who in our community finally called her out. I am on a short leash myself, as my daughter is opening a restaurant and she says she needs all kinks of folks to come and spend money there to support her. So I only get to watch.

Hillary may not have been pleased
That Obama came to the convention-
Since he acted like a prima donna
And she was lucky to get a mention...

With all about I and me, me, me
That is most of his every speech
It probably made her want to do
Much more than her usual screech

He may not have done her a favor-
He’s too selfish to wish her well
But he knows if she gets smacked
His legacy goes straight to hell...

How did your dinner turn out? I don’t have a grill like yours-my Weber is more than 10 years old-a kettle with a lower rack for charcoal/wood and the upper one where the food goes-you put charcoal/wood on the rack, light it with a match or lighter and put the top rack on-when the fire is ready, you put the food on the top rack, put the lid on, watch and turn the food at the proper time, etc...

I grilled chicken last evening-this evening, I’m going to make a salad from romaine lettuce, spinach, onion, tomato, avocado, a few black olives-slice the leftover chicken on top, and put some vinegar and oil dressing on it...

Just like southern racists ruined the idea of poll tests and free association, Germany ruined the idea of actually judging things by what’s best for your own people.

I’ve just about decided that Angela Merkel has either been taken over by some alien body snatcher or is having a major psychotic episode-that kind of a swing in personality can’t be natural and normal...

A change of subject-but did you see Tyrant last Wednesday and last night? I really didn’t expect any plot twists that drastic this early-shocking-but chubby did step up, it seems...

And is the actor playing the US military officer who is now boffing the overly ambitious former 1st lady the same guy who played Big/John in the Sex in the City series and movies, or am I mistaken?

I watched last week’s episode last night. Haven’t seen the latest yet. Probably tonight. So Emma is dead and Molly and Barry will unleash holy hell on the Caliphate.

And good to see Ahmed stand up to his father.

Yes, that is Mr. Big.

When I was hiking on Saturday, I met one of my neighbors on the trail walking his female Bull Mastiff-she is very nice with people she knows, and he is always teaching her to do tricks using word cues-he recorded Hillary laughing and barking and played it and said “Hillary, Hillary!” to the dog-she showed teeth, snarling and barking viciously at the player in his hand-I thought she was going to grab it with her teeth and destroy it-she quit the minute he turned it off and offered her a jerky treat-I told him his dog is smarter than a lot of humans...

I did not think they would kill Emma off-did not see that coming at all, but I really wish they would have offed the son instead-he doesn’t seem to be totally trustworthy...

I was surprised at Barry’s reaction-venganza en sangre fria...
