3 men charged with selling $200,000 worth of stolen Gillette razor blades

BOSTON —Three Massachusetts men have been indicted on charges they sold more than $200,000 worth of stolen Gillette brand razor blades on eBay.
Massachusetts U.S. Attorney Carmen Ortiz says 51-year-old Robert Liberatore, of Wakefiel,; 43-year-old Mark Girardin, of Randolph, and 62-year-old Joseph Evangelista, of Lowell, were arrested Monday on suspicion of conspiracy to transport stolen property interstate.
Prosecutors say Evangelista stole the razor blades while employed at Gillette, based in Boston, and gave them to Liberatore and Girardin, who sold them on eBay under the business name "Cambridge Dedicated Services." Prosecutors say they sold $208,944 in razor blades from February 2011 to August 2011.

I’m a DSC member, and it’s a gem. For years, I’ve spend at least $50 a month on Gillette razors. The razor industry is a scam, and I’m glad the Internet has competition to them.

And smooth operators.
But the situation ended up getting pretty prickly for them.
Especially after they lost their edge.

I was paying a fortune for Gillette Fusion blades, which are very good. I was quite happy to find that the CVS knockoff of that item is just as good at half the price.
