I know you are a full-time enthusiastic Apple promoter.
Just saying.
My computer has Windows now, and I am very happy with it. I used Linux for about 10 years, but am quite happy with the Windows machine.
Carry on.

Google (and Facebook—and now Twitter) collects all sorts of data on you. That’s even if you use Macintosh or Linux.
And they all work for the Dims—and the oligarchs behind them!!!!

And after 20 years of these same articles about Windows users beating down the door to use Macs or Linux for whatever contrived reason, the numbers are virtually unchanged.
Must be another one of those polls that have to oversample Dems.

If Apple could get Kimberly Guilfoyle to give me a naked lapdance I’d switch.
You know, if we’re asking dumb questions about imagined scenarios that would make somebody switch OSes...

I’m starting to use Linux at home a lot more.

We are now using Knoppix Linux on a boot DVD to check out how easy it would be to switch.
I have to admit, I like what I see.

Funny I use Windows 10 and don’t receive any of these ads you speak of. It must be because I use Ublock.
No ads, no problem.

I have often considered buying a Mac. Never could see spending that much money on a computer. My Windows 7 and 8 laptops never cost more than $300, that I recall. They do the job. Next purchase will probably be another 8 if I can't find a decent 7.

I've been showing Linux Mint with the MATE desktop to hard-core Windows users. This is especially true with those users with Windows XP hardware -- Mint can be installed while preserving their Windows environment.
Then there was the Dell laptop with Windows 10 (upgraded from 8) that I just picked up at a yard sale -- and Mint on that puppy looks and feels good. That laptop had UEFI, and the Mint install went in very smoothly...and I can still load Windows 10 when I want to hurt myself.

Any non-gamer over the age of forty who uses Windows for their personal computer(s) is probably just being lazy. If said person is doing only browsing, email and multimedia, then the Mac is too expensive and Windows is too ditzy, but Linux ix just right.

Considering the Windows Phone-Home Edition (Win 10), Microsoft is facing losing millions of customers including corporate accounts that cannot and will not tolerate Microsoft Windows 10 sending private information like file names to Microsoft, especially Microsoft in India.

One of my computers is Windows 10 now... and I can’t turn the damn thing off.. it says ‘power off’ but it only goes ‘to sleep’. I have to take the battery out to turn it off.
That’s disgusting... I’ve always been a PC person but that might change in the future.
