Ryan is the GOP (elite) Speaker if the House.
if he loses, the GOP loses a national spokesman and - to the DC elites - a BIG influence. (Unfortunately, most of that national influence has been used to promote a Nancy Pelosi lite series of enabling legistlation and poloticial dramas that only advance Oboma's agendas. Democrat agendas.
So, in an open primary, democreats can vote.
Do they vote to keep a compliant speaker whom Oboma and McConnell can manipulate, or do they vote to kick out a republican speaker so the republican party looses stature and image?
WI-1 race. Still no news.
I hope it’s a landslide for Nehlen and they don’t know how to spin it yet.
Go Nehlen!
I have not watched any news channel in weeks, but if Nehlen pulls this off I may have to take a peek at CNN.
Folk from WI is this the norm on election night? Why the silence?
Polls don’t close for another ten minutes. Unless the democrats vote for Nehlen, Ryan will win. Nehlen was a terrible candidate, ran a bad race.
Exit polls are usually not conducted in local primaries, especially when the incumbent has a large lead.
This is a partisan primary. Once you have the machine you choose ONE party and you can only vote that party. There are local/state positions on the ballot and it depends on those races whether or not someone would choose another party. Those other positions are important in the local/state scheme of things.
Unless Dem candidates are unopposed, I would not count on cross-overs for the Congressional race.
Looks like a blowout in the making unfortunately.
Fox just called it for Ryan.
83% fore Ryan with 46 votes counted
46% counted
Wisconsin, looks like Massachusetts at this point. Ryan is Scott Brown, or worse.
Glad to see some folks still have a sense of humor! :-D
They think he is bringing home the goodies.... and perhaps for a few he is. Hey... if they think they will keep their plastic banana good-time jobs and not be crowded by muzzies, why should they care about the country.
No explaining stupid.
Why are there states that allow for open primaries? I don’t get it?
