That looks like a Maine Collie Cat! “Lassie, come home!!!”
“Uh, you’re not talking to me, are you?
Just kidding, I love longhairs. Our favorite was a tortoiseshell who thought she was part dog. Attention hound who wouldn’t take no for an answer. Miss her.
Lol, I had to do some research to make sure the Ragdoll cat was not a joke. I’d learned about the Maine Coon cat as one was in a story I once read. Have never been around either breed, but articles say the males of both breeds can top 20 pounds. That’s a big house cat.
I miss our female Maine Coon. She was a big cat about 14-16 lbs. and long rust and silk white hair/fur. She really preened herself a lot. The moment I sat on the sectional she’d jump up and put her face next to me as she loved attention. My wife was ill for many years and “Carley Sue” the cat, died while my wife was in the hospital again. She used to sit by the door to my wife’s room like a guard cat. I cannot tell you how much I miss that cat. She was only 14. I had two Siamese that lived to 19 and 20. The female Maine Coon with long hair is my choice.
Aren’t they beautiful? And as sweet as sugar!
Did you know that Zirondelle is. Cajun for dragonfly?
Cool! I had no idea. Thanks!
Read about biggest feline in Nyc? Maine coon , 28lbs , 4 foot long named Samson. (Sorry, I am away from my Pc, but wanted to share heads up .I need to learn posting links with this iPad)
