First images of the 23-year-old armed man shot and killed by a Milwaukee police officer, whose death sparked riots and unrest in the city, have surfaced. Officials identified the dead man as Sylville K Smith, previously charged with first-degree recklessly endangering safety for his involvement in a shooting last year, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. Both Smith and the officer who shot him are black, according to the Chicago Tribune.
During a press conference Milwaukee mayor Tom Barrett said a photo shows 'without question' Smith had a gun in his hand. Barrett said that Smith had 'more firepower than the officer', and his handgun was loaded with 23 rounds, which he refused to drop when ordered by police.
Milwaukee Police Chief Edward A Flynn said officers wore body cameras as they approached the vehicle, which they found suspicious, and within 20 to 25 seconds Smith, who had a lengthy rap sheet, was dead. He also said that he would like the body cam video to be released as soon as possible, following due process.
According to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, Smith received the two charges following a shooting last year, but the details of that shooting were not immediately clear. The charges were later dismissed. From jail Smith called his girlfriend and asked her to pressure a victim into recanting their previous statement, according to the Journal-Sentinel.

In the article his mother says he “just got a concealed carry license”, and later the sheriff says “13 arrests for drugs, robbery, and use of force”.
Maybe I’m not up on other states laws, but how does he get a carry permit with that arrest history?

I think that's mostly right, Leni. From what I can tell there's only one AP guy in the midst (mist). Situ is too fluid for anyone but the local nets. So the MSM will play it sub dura "Mo details have come out" rather than go up there and instigate. UNLESS Degay and Shauntilla get marching orders from Soros, which seems doubtful as more trouble - particularly the fires - would work optix against Cankles' playbook...
He had a felony and many drug charges. There’s no way he had a concealed carry permit. I don’t believe it.
His mom obviously doesn’t know what’s going on. Perhaps he told her that when she saw he had the gun. Perhaps she’s saying what she needs to say to save face. But, that boy doesn’t have a legal concealed carry. I’ll place a bet on it.

This guy was likely going to kill other blacks in the near future, if he hadn’t killed already. But of course they don’t care about that.
In 2014 he plead guilty to an illegal concealed carry.
There were more serious charges. Smith was accused in a shooting last year and charged with recklessly endangering safety, a felony.
The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported that Smith was subsequently accused of pressuring the victim to recant statements that identified him as the gunman and was charged with trying to intimidate a witness. The charges were dropped because the victim recanted the identification and failed to appear in court, Chief Deputy District Attorney Kent Lovern told the newspaper Sunday.
Smith also pleaded guilty to carrying a concealed weapon in 2014.
Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke said at a news conference that Smith had been arrested 13 times.

They have the media covering for them! The New York Times posted an article over the weekend, LYING, saying that what is happening in Milwaukee was the result of DECADES of decay, corruption, greed, and injustice.
I think people refuse to see the obvious! There once were great businesses and factories in these old cities (Milwaukee, Baltimore, etc...), but BOTH the customers and the employees stopped providing PROFIT to the owners, so like smart people do, the owners MOVED their business to where it is appreciated - PERIOD!
Once business owners start seeing the potential for profits again (better customers and better employees), they will invest in these areas again. But until then, you get what is the result of cultural FAILURE.
