We use yahoo messenger to video chat with Filipino family and ...

Today, when a call came in, we couldn't open it because yahoo messenger said we had to upgrade.
I decided to go ahead with the old so we could answer this video chat but it would not open.
We telepnoned our relative and explained.
I went to the upgrade and it never opened up.
I un-installed the old and re-installed the new upgrade and it does not open up messenger but opens up an old, 6 years ago uninstalled, ID I haven't used since then ... and I can't seem to get anything from yahoo.
OK ... there will be those that jump on me for using yahoo, but it has been easy, and user friendly ... up until today.
Anyone else ?

liberal yahoo was sold to verizon. Yahoo probably sabotaged their email and message boards before handing it over... I think all of this is getting fixed as we speak. Yahoo messenger will probably be working sometime soon.

Drop your phone service for Time Warner and get a $10 a month bill and the ability to call endlessly to many nations.
After the first year special it goes up to the regular $19.99 price.
Sounds and works great.
Option two, if IPhones involved by all just Internet FaceTime.

Yahoo mail is all screwed up, too. I can’t write anything anymore because it keeps skipping becvause of all the ads that constantly pop up.

We have a PC with WIN7 OS, no fancy iphones or what have you and so far, the services (outside of YM) require an iphone or something and most don't support W7

yahoo messenger has been a mess for a while. Try using Appear.in, I think you will enjoy it far more.
