Once someone buys a ticket and enters the stands, turning their back is a joke. They’ve already paid the Kaepernicks, et al. The only effective action is to NOT buy tickets; and stay away in droves.

It isn’t the stands that matter, it is the television broadcast. Billibucks paid by advertisers to rent your eyes - that is what pays the bills. If their ratings dip, that will get the attention of the league.

And more importantly, turn off your sets. Ticket sales are but a fraction of the money the NFL rakes in on TV broadcasts.
