What a game! Looks like the Horns are back.
Great fight. Both were tough, but yes, UT cleaned house - got rid of the problem entitled players and now it’s paying off. ND had too many entitled / criminals get sideways with the law. Now we’ll see if they take the high and tough road like UT did.
Such a game!!
I think Houston made a pretty good case for the Big XII.
Strong just saved his job.
And will get a raise to $6 million a year.
The refs missed that helmet-to-helmet on the dropped ND TD pass.
It was a great game right up until the end!! Then it was very bad.
The NFL is comprised of three conferences.
The AFC, the NFC, and the SEC.
Here in the southeast, college ball is a bigger deal the pro ball and pro ball doesn’t hurt for support.
There are minor rules differences, but nothing significant.
That Swoops fella was quite an armful.
Texas earned it. ND went weak on the run. If anything Texas should have been weak after the first OT.
Didn’t happen.
Good for the Longhorns.
Great game! Hook em!
Watching Swoops brought back a lot of memories of Tebow.
I will say that blocked point for 2 was pretty damn good for the Irish. A bit surreal.
Tebow hell, he was running like Walker. That white boy had some Tark in him.
What a game!
Been a Jet fan since around 8. Forty years down the tubes.
I was 9 months old when they wont the SB and remember it well.
Four years out of the 40, with a real QB, they had a very legitimate shot at the SB. Two years during the NY Sack Exchange days, and the first few years of Rex Ryan’s reign.
History now shows us they made it to the divisional playoffs IN SPITE of Sanchez, not because of him.
BEVO XV,
The Legend begins!
Certainly an exciting game between well matched teams, but neither team was really very impressive.
I only saw the last 25 minutes of regulation plus the overtimes, but UT seemed to control the line of scrimmage better and better as the game wore on.
I doubt Oklahoma votes for them...
In a way, it may have helped Texas, because ND played pretty conservative, because the game was tied.
Had Notre Dame still trailed, they would have been much more aggressive and there’s a good chance they would have scored.
And where exactly was that chop block on the final Texas drive in regulation?
Heard about it. I have close contacts back in northern Indiana and I hear they’re howling mad! Down here, my co-workers will be pleased!
I try not to get too involved, but I’m always pleased when the locals and NDU win. Kinda rotten they had to face one another so soon.
