The key to Walmart’s growth over the last 30 years has been the EBT crowd.

Efforts to pare back EBT and SNAP are strongly opposed by the crony business-political systen to keep billions in consumer demand injected into our sick economy

I was in Smart and Final yesterday when a single lady had four 24 count cases of soft drinks in her basket. They were on sale. I was shocked to find her paying for it with an EBT Food Stamp debit card. She was not going to use that for food, she was going to sell it on the street, at minimum doubling her money and game the system. I suspect she was also an illegal alien. Like anything free, people will find a way to take advantage of it.

Sodas on sale get wiped out very quickly here due to that. I have a hard time catching $0.99 2 liters before the inventory is gone. Same with meats on sale.

The Left doesn’t grasp that Cloward-Piven is a double-edged sword. If conservatives KEEP THEIR ARMS AND AMMUNITION, and sign on to every benefit plan they can while continuing to vote against them, and deliberately reduce income to underfund Mordor on the Potomac, they can hasten what is probably an inevitable collapse and be in a position to dictate terms of any rebuilding (or just flat-out eject or even exterminate the leftists).

C-P produces chaos, which no sane person wants. Only those on the Left think it will work to their benefit.

You are right that once chaos comes, it’s best to be prepared, though. One never knows how it will turn out, and of course I’d hope for it to work out for the good guys. But there will be a heavy price to pay, either way.

Food Stamps is a program that is crying out to be abolished by the Trump Administration.

I don't think it should be abolished, as there are some food needy people. It should go backwards in time. Government trucks/distribution warehouse should make available basic staples, like they used to. Beans, canned pork, some of that orange cheese, rice, sugar. It shouldn't be a luxury charge program, or worse yet, delivered straight to your welfare door.

I taught job-seeking classes at the unemployment office for food stamp and welfare recipients. They lived better than I did.

Thank you for referencing that 2ndDivisionVet. As usual, please bear in mind that the following critique is directed at the article and not at you.

"Food stamps may soon be available for online shopping"

FR: Never Accept the Premise of Your Opponent’s Argument

Patriots are reminded that the states have never delated to the corrupt feds, expressly via the Constitution, the specific power to regulate, tax and spend for food stamp purposes.

So the unconstitutional, post-17th Amendment ratification, vote-winning federal food stamp program needs to be shut down until the Constitution’s Article V state supermajority should decide to amend the Constitution to authorize the feds to tax and spend for such a purpose.

In the meanwhile, note that the states have always had the 10th Amendment-protected state power to tax and spend for their own food programs.

In fact, consider that the states would probably easily find the funding to run their own food programs, along with many other things on their to-do list, if they put a stop to unconstitutional federal taxes, taxes which Congress cannot justify under its constitutional Article I, Section 8-limited powers.

Remember in November !

Patriots need to support Trump / Pence by also electing a new, state sovereignty-respecting Congress that will not only work within its constitutional Article I, Section 8-limited powers to support Trump’s vision for making America great again for everybody, but will also put a stop to unconstitutonal federal taxes and likewise unconstitutional inteference in state affairs as evidenced by the unconstitutional federal food stamp program.

Note that such a Congress will also probably be willing to fire state sovereignty-ignoring activist justices.

It is my firm belief that able bodied on welfare, should report every morning M-F for assignment to such community service as the community needs. At 12 noon they break for the sack lunch they bring. At 1PM the continue working until 5 pm . They receive their welfare check based on the # of days they show up. It is not fair that some toil to benefit any others than themselves or their family. By doing the above we could massively reduce our fat government pay rolls for a TWOFER. Im as serious as a seizure.

If you’d spent as many years dealing with them as I have, you’d realize what a bad idea this is. Many of the women I dealt with were 4th and 5th generation on welfare. Work is as foreign to them as sushi making probably is to you.

You aren’t supposed to tell people it is really a Welfare program for Corporate Farms and Big Box Grocery stores.

I always wonder why most don’t understand that? That is the reason it is part of the FARM BILL!!

When you have the likely next president referring to at least 25% of the population as an “irredeemable” “basket of deplorables,” you have to understand that chaos is probably in our future, ready or not. That’s democidal language, her “Stronger Together” campaign slogan horseshit notwithstanding. I will not be the least surprised to see a Balkan-like conflict erupt if she is elected and begins abusing the office as enthusiastically as I suspect she would. I’ll admit to being a pessimist, but I’m adjusting my mindset to account for the possibility of a zero-sum scenario.

Who is going to pay for delivery of said food items?

Companies like Peapod charge for delivery service.
