Dems, Repubs Both Shocked When They Learn Why Obama Just Gave Mexico $75 Million
For WHAT?? To pay to ship us more illegal disease-ridden criminals and terrorists?
One of Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump’s talking points in his campaign has that he wants to protect our borders. He wants to secure the American people from the dangers of illegal immigration and strengthen those borders by building a wall.
However, it seems that President Barack Obama wanted to do one lasting thing before leaving office, so he gifted Mexico $75 million … to help the Mexicans build a wall to improve their border security.
According to a Financial Times story cited by Newsmax, Mexico wanted to stop people from Central American countries like Guatemala from entering their country via its southern border.
A reported 175,000 Central Americans were deported from Mexico last year, and this year that number has gotten close to 100,000 already.
The money went to equipment and training to help Mexico secure its border to the south. Ultimately, Obama’s thinking went, this will help America because it will stop Central Americans from winding up at America’s doorstep via Mexico.
Cue the collective “What the … ?” from all over the country.
Democrats do not want any walls built. Republicans want a wall on the northern border of Mexico — you know, the one actually bordering America.
Their southern border is Mexico’s problem, one that perhaps the U.S. should be willing to discuss with Mexico … after they agree to pay for Trump’s wall.
Republicans and Democrats haven’t agreed on much lately, but they can agree that not only is this idea ridiculous … it is hypocrisy at its finest.

Is the “Republican” HOR comatose? How the heck does Obama get the money to hand over to Mexico? How does he get the money for the refugee program? Etc ad nauseum.

Yet Mexico hands out travel visas for people from Africa and the ME that come into their country to travel to the US. They have holding areas for them at our border and we let them in.
It takes the argument away that Obama/Hillary are not opposed to immigration walls.
So when Trump's in office, he can use the approval (or lack of censure by the GOPe) to get our southern wall done.
Zero is absolutely the biggest hypocrite. But he will still hand over his power to Trump in January 2017 and that will be a glorious moment to see Zero gone and our redeemer Trump in office!
Let alone a few billion for Iran?

BO’B is more interested in keeping MEXICO safe than AMERICA. Congress has given BO’B a checkbook with every check signed and ready to be completed as he sees fit. No sane individual in a right mind would be so stupid or such an idiot as to feed the beast with an unending appetite for money and destruction. Not only is our Resident a traitor and treacherous individual, our congress (the ones to keep him in line) are just as evil and dangerous.

My take on the “Obama gives” dynamic is different, and similar to my take on the “Clintons give” dynamic.
I think they both run a pay to play scheme. They don’t mind wasting large amounts of public money, so long as the contributor they are favoring gets a return on his contributory investment.
Consider Solyndra: Somewhere over $500 million in loans were defaulted on. That’s a taxpayer hit. But, the main investor was put ahead of the government in salvage reclamation payments (against the law) to the tune of $75 million (IIRC), and everyone involved was well-paid while the company lasted. The main investor, who was a bundler for Obama, got together much less than the $75 million he was paid back on his terrible investment.
Similar things happen with construction projects, which become union and contractor payoffs to cronies or members of favored groups.
So, why shouldn’t something be happening in Mexico? Someone does Obama a favor for some amount, and of the $75 million, he recoups more than the cost of his favor. If the rest is wasted, it doesn’t matter to either of them.
