It all depends on so many variables. How many thugs are high, drunk? How much adrenaline is pumping, are any of them carrying...how violent or peaceful are the leaders.. discipline of cops..what’s their plan..just so many unexpected things could happen. Or, they get tired and wander off...
The officers are being pelted with rocks - there are a lot of injuries.
They appear to have split into smaller groups, but it sounds like CMPD are prepared for them to amass again. I will say, CMPD appear to put up with very little.
Although apparently BLM supporters have already scheduled a “Black Out” on UNCC campus in support of the protesters and against police for tomorrow despite the library now being put on lockdown. Let no crisis go to waste.
