Even after 62 years and 31 ways of destroying cities, it seems Japanese people still cant get enough of Godzilla and his catastrophic ways.
This is my fifth time to see it, Iori Yanagi, a 30-something woman, said before a special screening of the latest Godzilla movie, released here as New or Real Godzilla.

So the 21st century Godzilla is a patriotic Japanese nationalist?
Peel the fake latex mask off Hitlery, and she’d be a dead ringer for Godzilla.
Are the Japanese taking off and reattaching arms on the wrongs sides just for kicks in this one?
are they dissecting Chinese soldiers alive in this one?
Testing fleas as a weapon?
Putting people in freezing temperatures to see reaction?
Bayoneting Chinese who are buried up to their heads or pregnant women?
Just asking.
The greatest feat of WWII was the japs getting away with making the germans look like the only monsters. There were two.
The REAL WWII Japanese Empire was far scarier than any godzilla movie.
Nowadays a movie “US Destroyed by Alien” ain’t fiction...
How could you not know this given the fact that if you look close enough you can see the words “Made in Japan” written in English on the bottom of the right foot of Godzilla’s cheesy rubber suit! ;o)
I Guess the Japanese film industry is just as crazy as ours. I guarantee you that the public is more concerned about China than us.
If Hillary wins, Japan might have the last laugh after all.
Japan has a bigger monster to contend with, and its not on the U.S. side of the Pacific.

"Apparently benign alien emissaries show mankind how to end the misery
of war, plague and famine. The Kanamits, nine-foot tall aliens, arrive on
Earth with one lofty goal: To Serve Man. They end war, they end famine.
They make the military wonder: what's the catch?"

I love it. “It’s a COOKBOOK.”
I always forget the number. Sickening stories.
Face it, most of today’s Japanese don’t have a life.
In my opinion Japan, after WW2 was severely ashamed and regretful at how it was duped by the military rulers into prosecuting such a disaster.
Godzilla (at the time of it’s first release as “Gojira” in 1954) was a manifestation of the need to punish themselves from within their own culture, and in doing so redeem their self worth.
A giant gorilla with brooding good looks and rippling muscles is causing a stir at a Japanese zoo, with women flocking to check out the hunky pin-up.
Shabani, an 18-year-old silverback who tips the scales at around 180 kilograms (400 pounds), has become the star attraction at Higashiyama Zoo and Botanical Gardens in Nagoya, striking smouldering poses the movie model in "Zoolander" would be proud of.
"He often rests his chin on his hands and looks intently at you," zoo spokesman Takayuki Ishikawa told AFP on Friday.
"He is more buff than most gorillas and he's at his peak physically. We've seen a rise in the number of female visitors -- women say he's very good-looking."

The more recent Godzilla movie was filmed so dark that I could barely make out any movement on the TV screen. It was either on HBO or STARZ. I even waited until night and turned off all lights and still couldn’t see much on the TV screen.
I have noticed that more and more with movies and even many TV dramas — they are filmed in the dark for some reason.
Nah, just my day job
