American tennis player Serena Williams took to Facebook on Tuesday to say she "won't be silent" about race relations and tension with police.
Williams, 35, said she had the moment of reflection while riding with her 18-year-old nephew. She wrote that she saw a cop on the side of the road and checked to make sure her nephew was driving at the speed limit, prompting her to think about the case of Philando Castile, who was shot after being pulled over in Minnesota.

WTH is she talking about? Some cop doing his job making sure her Nephew, is obeying the speed law making sure he doesn’t kill someone or himself, or her for that matter and she’s screaming racism?
Don’t commit acts of violence, don’t steal other people’s stuff, and get a job. See? That fixes everything, you don’t have to worry about the police.

I’ve been stopped so many times, I’m constantly asking my children in an animated fashion, “Is that a cop behind me!?!”. I’m reaching new levels of paranoia now about it. And last time I checked. I’m rather on the pinkie side of the colour spectrum. But, no, it’s just Serena’s nephew and others of his hue that have to worry about getting pulled over. Of course, I haven’t been shot yet, but maybe that is related to the fact that I’m cooperative and compliant and not of a demographic with a history of violence and outward hostility toward law enforcement.

Serena and sister Venus get this ‘everything is racist’ perspective from their Dad. He has long employed the Race Card in order to carve out opportunities for his girls while coaching them. Only thing is, they mentally have not moved on. Their complaints don’t match their high dollar life.
I am perfectly content if she feels the need to destroy her brand. Have at it, girl!
