I have pretty strong feelings about brats making millions of dollars playing a game and then all of a sudden making pronouncements on what is right and wrong. That is why I don’t watch pro sports.

We are at war. Congress has abdicated its responsibility to declare war. Declare war and kill main and destroy with with a power and speed so devastating that our enemies beg for mercy. That is winning a war folks. Not what we are doing now.
We defeated Iraq twice and we gave it back both times after countless young lives were lost and countless more maimed forever. And for what ? If we maintained control of the Iraq I could somewhat understand.
Before anyone flames me I ask for only two things. (1) Explain to me just what our plan for the middle east is. (2) Know that I am a 38 year member of the US Army. Been to Iraq repeatedly. Still serving today Bet you did not even know that serving into your fifties was a possibility.
In war, old men send young men to die.
As Americans, we owe it to those young men and women to get a plan and unleash the dogs of war. Either declare war with no rules of engagement and win, or get the F out.
You think they had rules of engagement in WWII ?
We as Americans have abdicated our duty as well. We need to fire Congress and hold our leaders feet to the fire. We are killing people worldwide in drone strikes. Thats war if I ever saw it. Who is authorizing that ? Not saying I am against it, but who in Congress is authorizing the killing of people is say Libya ? Are we at war with Libya ?

The people dying seem to be mainly white and hispanic men.
