Poll: Clinton up 10 on Trump nationally
The Hill ^ | 10/6/16 | Mark Hensch

Hillary Clinton is 10 points ahead of Donald Trump in a national poll just over a month from Election Day.

The Democratic nominee leads her Republican rival 50 percent to 40 percent among likely voters in the Fairleigh Dickinson University survey released Wednesday.

ADVERTISEMENT Pollsters found Clinton’s edge is roughly unchanged when respondents are asked about third-party candidates.

Clinton leads Trump, 45 percent to 36 percent, in a four-way matchup, with Libertarian nominee Gary Johnson grabbing 11 percent and the Green Party's Jill Stein nabbing 3 percent.

Nope, not a Never Trumper, just baffled by his candidacy from day one. I would rather have Daffy Duck in the White House over another Clinton, but unless some major unforeseen event happens in the next month, I think we need to prepare ourselves for President HRC. Dismissing the polls as inaccurate (like every FReeper did in 2012) isn’t helpful at this point.

Replace Reuters with PPD and you're right... Reuters has Hillary up by 6.

Trump goofed again on Twitter and passed on an AZ poll as a national poll... Gateway Pundit picked it up and also (erroneously) ran with it... makes Trump look foolish cause it says National Poll up by 2, and at the bottom of that same image, it clearly states "Arizona Poll"...

doesn't anyone factcheck his tweets for accuracy??

All 4 daily tracking polls have him up... Breitbart/Gravis have it as an exact tie

All four daily tracking polls have Trump leading. With Trump tied or ahead in Oh, FL, MN, CO, NV, NC etc its impossible for Clinton to be 10 pts ahead nationally.

I say that this poll is probably an outlier. Odd results will pop up once in awhile and unless I see other polls with similar margins, I am skeptical. I’d be just as skeptical if it showed Trump up by 10.

Wanna know why his approval is in the 30s? His lack of discipline, his awful debate performance, and he hasn’t bombarded the airwaves with ads!!! They are so damn effective and he brags about not paying for ads

There's no way Crooked Hillary can be 10 points ahead when almost every other poll in America has the race close with Trump ahead in many of them and gaining in a lot of battleground states. I have to question why any true Freeper would post this nonsense here. Even Obama only won by 7 points during his peak year of 2008. I never even heard of this polling outfit and an Internet search brings up almost nothing about their polling history.

Why all the concern trolling all of a sudden?

Well I have heard of their polls. It’s not concern trolling. It’s making note of poll. I’ve also posted on threads where his polling is good.

Especially if those outrageous charges go unanswered.. as Trump did in the debates... as Pence did in the debates.. as Trump has done throughout the campaign, being outspent $200mm to $10mm

Like I said after the debates, and no one seems to agree... Pence won the debate, hands down.... but it's a VP debate... no one votes for VP. His mission was to defend Trump against scurrilous charges and blast the lying crook... that's the measure of success, not who won a debate on points... by that measure, Pence lost, big time

As I predicted going into the debate, Pence prefers to stay above the fray... that's NOT what a good VP does.. he defends the Pres and attacks Hillary... he got interrupted 72 times by Kaine and many times by the Mod.. and he didn't say shit! Even on Rush, he praised the moderator, right after Rush trashed her!

The old adage fits - NICE GUYS FINISH LAST... if he had picked Allen West, West would be in offensive from the word GO

It most certainly is concern trolling and you should know better. This polling outfit has no history whatsoever that we can vet them by. I searched to see if they did any polling in the 2012 presidential contest and came up with nothing.

My personal polling outfit says Trump will win by 10 points. Let's call it the SamAdams76 Free Republic poll. Are you going to post a thread about that too?

Furthermore.... I really believe that Pence had a pact with Trump as a condition for accepting the VP spot.. that he remain untarnished... just like Ryan held back, Pence is also... he's af afraid of being Palinized and doesn't want to get his hands dirty... which makes him an effective VP candidate... he may well be an excellent VP, but as a candidate, not really

A couple of days after the debate... outside of policy wonks and FR, what do people remember about the debate? 1. Kaine is a nasty unlikeable SOB and Pence is steady and knowledgeable... 2. Trump is hiding his taxes and said nasty things about women and Mexicans and others. That's how the steeple took it inAgain, Allen West would have added a huge value to the ticket.. Pence needs to vigorously defend his boss.... just my honest opinion

“...unless some major unforeseen event happens in the next month, I think we need to prepare ourselves for President HRC.”

The dynamics of 2016 are not the dynamics of 2012. It’s also extremely difficult for either party to retain control of the White House for three consecutive terms. That only happens when a president has been so successful, that the people want more of the same.

That is not the case in 2016. The people have been worn down by Obama, and want change. Hillary Clinton does not represent change, but more of the same, ergo, she doesn’t have the kind of broken glass support that Donald Trump does.

Don’t be fooled by polls that show her doing well. She’s not, and every anecdotal indicator shows it.

It’s easy when you limit your polling to NYC, Detroit, etc. That seems to be the way they turn a lie around to show her winning. They have one on RCP that’s got literally 48% Dem, 36% Rep and the rest Ind. They are going so far out of their way to spike these polls to make her look like a winner, when instead, she’s a dead fish that nobody really wants. They are trying everything to keep the money train flowing.

We know the polls are cooked. We know they are lying to us. Let’s get out there and fight like he really IS 10 points down.I think this next debate will be crucial to showing that she’s corrupt and should have been in jail and not running for the most powerful office in the land.

What worries me the most, Trump wins. Obama says “He’s unfit. I will not hand over the reigns of power.” Then the battle lines are drawn.

Second worry, Trump wins, Hillary locks it up in court for months or years. Obama stays on.

Third worry. Hillary wins. Enough said.

Fourth worry. Hillary wins, and we find MASSIVE voter fraud. We fight to get it thrown out because of the fraud, and the Democrats throw a hissy fit, and a fight breaks out and the powder keg this Divider in Chief we have sitting in office today has created, blows up.
