Haven’t heard of this outfit before, has anyone else?

I have never met anyone who has said they were ever polled during any election cycle. You would think that with all the hundreds of polls being conducted, the chance of being polled would be pretty good. Makes me wonder if polls are actually conducted, or are they just made up.

Yeah, cause that helps us... all it does is further this narrative that she is ahead

RV = Registered Voter.

The lazy way to do a poll, Not surprised at the margin of error - with rounding, Hillary is down to 45% and Trump is up roughly at the same level.

So Hillary is NOT up by 10+ points after all.

Whether accurate or not, he needs to ask himself what could he do different to get 50 points ahead?

1) Hold a news conference and announce the 6 bills you’d send to Congress before the Inauguration parties start
2) At the news conference, practice quickly addressing the major swings Hillary will take at you during the debate (tax returns, insults at particular women, etc)
3) End it by reiterating the 6 bills

This is the debate prep.

I heard she’s running that ad in Florida on the Weather Channel. Taking advantage of a possible disaster.
I think that might turn people off, dispute the contents of the ad.

(The latest Rasmussen Reports) White House Watch telephone and online survey of Likely U.S. Voters finds Trump with a 43% to 41% lead over Clinton. Yesterday, he was ahead 42% to 41%. Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson again earns eight percent (8%) of the vote, while three percent (3%) prefer the Green Party’s Jill Stein. Two percent (2%) like some other candidate, and four percent (4%) are undecided. (To see survey question wording read article)

Trump acts like Trump and is thus the only candidate capable of losing to Hillary Clinton.

No one is in a bunker. It’s just that concern trolls have turned FR into a misery for Trump supporters. The other night, they told us Pence lost the debate when the supporters all said he had won. How did that work out for the concern trolls? They suddenly got very quiet

(This is a general remark - I’m not saying you are a concern troll.)

Let the FReeper hand-wringing begin.

Why I even visit these threads is beyond me.

A couple of comments:

1) I can’t take a “national” poll seriously that samples 829 people total, no matter what the internal breakdown.
2) I know a lot of people who support Trump who answer with “Gary Johnson” when asked by poll takers who they will vote for.

You can’t trust polls now a days, because they are used to move public perception, not gauge public sentiment. Trump has way more support than TPTB wish to acknowledge. The big question is does he have enough to cover the spread once the massive Dem voter fraud that takes place every election cycle is added to the mix?

If Hillary really was up by double digits, they’d be telling us the race is over.

Not even the Clinton campaign is making that claim.

they will lie either way. That is for certain.

If you torture the data long and hard enough, it will eventually reveal to you what you WANT it to.

Wait a minute wasn’t the hill yesterday’s poll had the beast up by one or vice-versa? How can it jump 10 points overnight? Doesn’t it make sense!

This is ridiculous and RCP better not include it in their averages. In a 4-way, Rasmussen has The Donald up 2, Gravis has it tied and even Economist/YouGov has Illary only up 3 which means Trump’s ahead. Plus a portion of this unknown poll is RV. No poll at this point should be RV. There’s another one on RCP which should be removed. The people want Trump and Pence.

Forget the polls. Get out there on election day and vote Trump. Convince as many people as you can to vote Trump. It’s time to face reality. All of the things people here predicted would happen to force Hillary out of the race haven’t happened, and aren’t going to happen. Hillary didn’t get indicted by the F.B.I. Obama didn’t replace her on the ticket with Biden just before the convention. Hillary didn’t skip the first debate, and didn’t collapse in the middle of the debate. She won’t miss the other debates. Her health may be questionable, but she’s going to appear to be just fine in her remaining appearances between now and election day. Wikileaks hasn’t torpedoed her campaign. Quit relying on some outside force to stop her. You’re only fooling yourself if you do. The only way to keep Hillary out of the White House is by handing her an overwhelming defeat at the polls on election day. Vote Trump, and convince as many people as you can to vote Trump.

The sample is too small and the smaller the size, the larger the sampling error.

And you can’t determine what voters they reached and determine how they arrived at their responses.

Noting your “night before the election”, brother.

We need to ELIMINATE all early voting opportunities, excepting the military/SOS/Diplomat voting from service overseas.

As it exists in the State of Texas (for me) I can make an early vote [claiming I’ll be unavailable to vote on 07NOV16]

I can and may provide an additional vote. [voting twice?]
If I’m in-country on 07NOV16, I have the opportunity to vote but...what of my previous “abscention” vote?

Gadzooks! the concept of “early voting” is not in congruence with our constitution!
