Ezekiel Emanuel, chief architect of Nobamacare, was on the Kelly File the other night.

He spit out (literally) the following lies:

He said the reports of large premium increases were cherry picked and that overall increases have been minimal.

States who didn’t expand Medicaid are the cause of so many people losing their insurance.

Rubio is responsible for insurers leaving the exchanges because Rubio opposes a continuation of the risk corridor payments (AKA taxpayer bailouts) to insurance companies.

See how easy it is being a Democrat. Just bury the truth, invent a bunch of lies and blame the GOP and you’re in.

To her credit, Kelly was having none of it, but she didn’t challenge him enough on the risk corridor payments. She should have made the analogy that the risk corridor payments were bailouts and why should the federal government be picking winners and losers in the health insurance market with taxpayer dollars.

Like almost everything else he attempted, it didn’t work.

Oh, yes it has. Most people won't see their premium increases until November. I've already seen mine - 45% but insurers aren't required to post their new rates until November 1.

I don't know why Trump isn't making a bigger deal out of this as it affects so many people.

Insurance execs who got in bed with Rats to pass this debacle should be tossed out unceremoniously on their cans. How could they be so absolutely stupid and naive?

So, for instance, if you are fat, and want a hip replacement or knee replacement you won’t be getting it on Medicare.
I like the idea of inserting personal responsibility into the process.

The 'process' should not involve taxpayer money, because if you want to gore the ox of fat people, they're going to turn around and gore your ox. You have 'bad genes'? You don't exercise to their liking? Bam!

Healthcare must be the sole province of an individual and a doctor.

Yep. I agree.

However, if the government, via the power of the gun, interjects itself. I’d want it to add personal responsibility to the mix. Get fat, smoke, become an alcoholic, and don’t expect the same quality of health car.

“I like the idea of inserting personal responsibility into the process.”

Since when has America been about “personal responsibility”?

Personal responsibility is for chumps who pay taxes.

Yep. And he country will collapse if we do not return to that standard. Frankly, I think it already has. It’s just that it is a long fall.

Hopefully if we hold Congress we won’t go single payer.

I don't believe that for one second. Plenty of RINOS secretly favor it. Likely more than half the business community would like nothing better than to shove their employee health care costs onto Uncle Sam. Republicans are only looking for an excuse to vote yea because "we had no other option".

Personally I suspect we are headed for single payer even if Trump wins.

Add Tricare Life to that list as it is secondary to Medicare for over 65 Ret. Military. Both are price fixed, losing doctors, test, low and slow reimbursements.

Hematologist, used an out of state blood lab, took them a year to file just Medicare, of course Medicare denied them. As will Tricare Life that one has not come in yet. It’s thousands of $$. I signed waivers NOT to run any non Medicare/Tricare Life test. They went ahead and ran them any way. Can’t get the lab reports out of the Hematologist, even my primary can’t. All I know is I don’t have Leukemia. But no reason why the red/white blood cells in bone marrow are abnormal. All I got was keep coming in every 6 months for more blood work. Cancelled the last appt and never made another one. Idiot was just padding his billing.
