Right - I’ve read a lot of stories like that from the UK. Bottom line is: do not injure in any way someone who breaks into your home while you are there. Same stories in Australia.

VERY. Austin has become a liberal demokkkrat controlled hell-hole and mexican invader sanctuary city but there are still a number of conservative business owners, such as a tobacco store, since liberals are mostly anti-smoking.
I don’t know of a single conservative that has ever done armed robbery.

I often catch myself using idioms and phrases that are so out of date, the younger generation has never heard them.
I suppose that happens to every generation. I can recall my granddad using pet phrases that totally mystified me.
