A newly released YouGov study aimed at surveying American attitudes towards socialism reveals just how little Americans know about communism and events surrounding the history of communist and socialist regimes.

Among the study’s most alarming findings, one in four Americans (26 percent) believe that more people were killed under George W. Bush than under notorious Soviet dictator Joseph Stalin. […]

The survey focused largely millennials and found that they are severely lacking in knowledge when it comes to communism and its bloody history. The poll shows 25 percent of millennials have a favorable view of Vladimir Lenin and 42 percent were unfamiliar with Mao Zedong, the communist leader of China, from 1945 to 1976. [Mao] is also believed to be responsible for the deaths of millions of Chinese citizens. …

Great pic...lots of people would even believe it’s real (hint: many of them voted for Odouchebag twice).

He did didn't he? /sarcasm

As far as I am concerned, all of the Bush family can be tried and convicted of anything, real or not, and I will no longer care. They have done America one big favor though by supporting Hillary Clinton over Trump. They have ensured that their political dynasty is dead.

Under the Democrat leadership, our educational system has plunged the US educational levels to 26th in the developed world. Now they think 500K is larger that 20 million. And i guess those same people think that the 1.2 million between Libya and Syria is less than 500k, where Obama and Hillary unleashed thousands of terrorists

Is that Japanese writing in the lower right-hand corner?

Are the Japanese trying to pin Pearl Harbor on the Germans for real?

Darn, where did you find that?

I have been looking for a copy of “History of WWII” by the esteemed Prof John Belushi, PhD, Recent Western History for years but have not been able to find one and Animal House Books has been out of business since 1982.

Oh, I would believe it. When I think of all my relatives who ostensibly have higher IQs and definitely more education than I do yet have the analytical thinking skills of worker ants.

50 years of public “education” and at least 30 years of university “education” have given America a population that is largely ignorant of the subjects that used to be primary, principally history. The left considers history as a subject in school to be counterproductive to society as they wish to mole it because children who study history of western civilization in school learn something about what sorts of political and religious arrangements and systems promote prosperity and liberty and which don’t. If children never learn this then they will not know when their leaders are lying to them about their promised utopia. If they can be induced to believe these lies because they have no background information in their biological data banks then they will believe and the leftists think that, as reality is totally a mental construct, if people believe something will work will then it will work.

I was a security guard at a Florida beach resort for 7 years. Each year the spring break crowd was dumber and wilder than the year previous. In the seventh year the theretofore steady decline took a precipitous tumble. I knew then that the Republic is gone and not coming back. These are our future “leaders” and captains of industry.
If the homeschooling phenomenon were a hundred times as large as it is I would believe that these public school kids would simply become this century’s homeless and ne’erdowell crowd and populate what is left of the institutions for the criminally inclined and the mentally useless. But that is not to be.

I asked a group of teenagers what event caused the greatest number of deaths, the Salem witch trials or Communism. They all said the Salem witch trials. When I told them about the tens of millions killed by the Communists, they would not believe me.

Here is Rummel’s 20th Century Democide page.

http://www.hawaii.edu/powerkills/20TH.HTM

He puts the USSR at 61.9 million, and Mao’s Chinese at another 76.7 million. The Khmer Rouge and the North Koreans become rounding errors.

More what?

Maybe they should quiz people on WHO each killed.

Bush killed would be Stalins. Stalin killed many because he was afraid of would be Bushes.

"Ignorance is our greatest commodity."

And a product of our school systems. It is time the we teach the next generation how to think, not indoctrinate them.
