That is what I was thinking...so its really a matter of whether the early voting is at the same levels as last time for Obama or not. I thought the enthusiasm for Hellary was less, but does that apply to the demographics here? (I tried to ask that in the most PC/non-racist way I could think of)
I don’t know if still true, but the western and northwestern sections of Broward County (Tamarac, Lauderhill, Sunrise, Lauderdale Lakes, some parts of Plantation ) were once heavily populated with older Jewish people from the northeast, many of them retired blue collar and union workers. They were solidly, reliably democrat voters. Many of those have been replaced by Caribbean immigrants, but with essentially the same voting pattern.
