This really doesn't make a lot of sense.

If Obama were to Pardon Hillary, she would have to legally accept it before it became effective. By accepting it, she would be admitting guilt, which would put an end to what little campaign she has left. Besides, I don't think she would even accept it.

Because, as bad as the charges are, I don't think there's any way she'll ever get time in jail.

A pardon, and acceptance of guilt may be the best we can ever expect.

I don’t think the implication is the election, the implication it is so bad she should be in jail, and that Obama will have exposure too.

“Wasn’t Nixon prepardoned?”

Yes, but was the constitutionality of that pardon ever challenged?

I don't think it matters. Obama can pardon her even if there is not an indictment.

Obama can pardon her without any charges being filed. A blanket pardon can cover all acts, whether the acts are currently known or not. If she gets a blanket pardon and a video emerges of her killing someone in the past, doesn’t matter, it’s covered under the pardon.

“She can’t be pre-pardoned.”

Nixon was.

What stuck was tax evasion!
If I remember this right his listed occupation was “used furniture salesman”. His lifestyle didn’t fit the income of his “occupation”.

She can’t be pre-pardoned.

That sounds logical, but I don't think that's correct. IIRC, Gerald Ford pardoned Nixon, and he hadn't been indicted for anything by the DOJ. And, although it was clear he would be impeached by Congress and convicted if he stayed in office, his resignation forestalled that. But, nevertheless, Ford pardoned him.

“FBI won’t charge HRC before election because Obama will use power to pardon her. “If we release Weiner file before Nov. 8th she’ll walk.” “

Bogus. Seems the idiot thinks on the 8th that the winner is president. Obama is President until the 20th of January.

Yes, and even if this particular tweet isn't true, it's a definite plus to have the words "pardon" and "Nixon" used again and again in relation to Hillary.

I just wish Obama would have to answer the pardon question in public, on the record.

That is interesting. I would like to hear more about the legality of that. I think this is different in that Ford was beginning his presidency, not ending his residency like the Kenyan is. So Ford could have been saying, no matter what Nixon would possibly be convicted of I will pardon him, and then be able to make good on it. Whereas BO is not able to do that since he is leaving in January.
