it’s not an inverted cross. the jump ring coming off the chain makes it appear that way. The actual “cross “ is equal in 4 directions.

Funny story time:
I worked with a Wiccan in the 80’s. She came out one day to find a cross in her driveway so she called the cops. A black officer arrived and the conversation went like this:
Her: It’s a cross.
Him: But it is upside down. It’s a Satanic symbol. The kids do it.
Her: No, it’s a cross aimed at me.
Him: Nope. Satanic cross.
Her: No, I’m a Wiccan.
Him: A what?
Her: I’m a witch.
Wide-eyed, he got back in his car and left without saying a word.
Until someone finds a high-resolution photo of that necklace, it could be a (+) sign, an X sign, or any number of things. Podesta’s creepy emails talking about “pool parties” with “11, 9 and 7” year old children to “entertain” them is one thing. Dinner parties with a known occultist performing rituals...that is truly disturbing. Critiquing blurry photos of jewelry is just dumb.
