Larry Schweikart, our own 'LS', kept assuring us -- often with hard facts and polling information -- the we would win. He would post little 'insider baseball' tidbits that gave me -- among other people -- hope. In the onslaught of biased polling, I became rather dispirited. I fully intended to vote no matter what, but I went into the evening almost convinced ClinSatan would steal it. However, during the election itself, he kept popping up and telling us to stop being so *wrecked* every time a state flipped back to Dem.
I kept looking up LS, and reading his material. He gave me hope when I felt hopeless.
This thread is intended to honor a great and intelligent Freeper, Mr. LS.

That wasn't last week, that was Tuesday.I think this is psyops. This is the MSM trying to sow confusion and distrust regarding Trump. One day he's left, the next day he's right. Then he's up, then he's down.
You're supposed to feel disoriented and wary. And apparently, many are.
Personally, I'm willing to wait until the debates before I start filtering. But I would advise others to consider that FNC is using polls to qualify for the debate, so perhaps the MSM is using conflicting news stories about Trump to manipulate the polls in advance of the debates?
The problem was all the other cults of personality that the establishment has been foisting on the primaries for years. I think the people are trying to take back the process as best they can.
The GOP wants Trump out sooner rather than later, because he's upsetting their natural order of things, their gravy train.
I don't mind seeing Trump in the mix for as long as he can hold out, just to shake things up. At this point, I don't know how else to keep another Dole/McCain/Romney from emerging early from the primaries, allowing the MSM and big donors again to select the GOP candidate.
Who knows which way Trump will eventually land? I'm never a fan of prematurely eliminating options. I want to see how Trump runs the gauntlet, but more importantly, I want to see how he drags the others through it with him, kicking and screaming, whining and complaining.
I have many more early nuggets of Trump support.

Lonesome Rhodes was dragged out of a jail cell. Donald Trump was dragged out of a 5th Avenue penthouse apartment.The question is: Is the jail cell vagabond a phony or the real thing? Is the penthouse billionaire a phony or the real thing?
Let me write next week's column.Trump is Mr. Potter.
Then they will show how Trump will turn Bedford Falls into Pottersville with flashy "Trump" signs on all the buildings and everyone living in debt to Trump.

I want to publicly thank God in Heaven that our nation was blessed to avoid the horror and absolute debacle and danger to our nation and way f life that a Hillary Clinton Presidency would have been. And make ni mistake about it, God heard and answered prayers on this occasion. We now have a real solid opportunity that our Supreme Court will be populated with a majority of consevative minded individuals who understand and will honor the founders intent. We may have a real chance to over turn the worst killing and murderous horror possible every unleashed on mankind in abortion, to protect the 2nd amendment, to reconstitute our borders and the culture of Americanism that made this nation great...which is not its divisity, bit is its ability to take diverse peoples and havve them want and then become Americans and adopt that culture. Anyways, I could go on and on, but tens of millions of people worked hard and then prayed to God that we might get such and out outcme and I am humbled to have been able to have lived to see this...or the benefit of my kids and my grand kids...which we were just were informed byJeff and Jolene, and Rachel and Chad would be 12 and 13 by this summer. May God bless Donald Trump and touch his heart so he might keep his promises and by inspired through the Spirit of God to return America to it intended path which we were (and still are ) in great danger of veering way from.

BTW, I earlier today said Priebus, not Bannon, would be chief of staff. I did not say Bannon would be gone, however.
I think Laura Ingrahm will be press secretary, and Kellyanne Conway should (that was my rec) be installed as head of the RNC.
