If the consultants had let Scott Walker be Scott Walker he might have a slim chance against Clinton, but Trump was the only person who could go head to head with Clinton and win.

Yes. Ted Cruz would've defeated Hillary, as well.
An unpopular opinion, I know. But I'm comfortable with it.

Sweet and simple, NO..No conservative or republican would have co-oped the D playbook and put it in their face except Trump. Whether Trump won or lost, the political landscape is now changed.

No. they couldn’t beat Trump, who played relatively fair. How could they possibly beat Hillary, who cheated at every opportunity.

Nobody would have been able to work as hard as Trump to win the election. They will all be listening to consultants on how to not make Hillary, democrats and the media mad.

I wouldn’t have bothered voting for another establishment neocon hack. I said no more and I meant it!
Perhaps they have hit rock bottom and things will change now?

No. Although it would have been interesting for the debates to have her matched up with Cruz. I think he would have drilled into her on actual topics and made her look more foolish than Trump did. But it had to be Trump in the end...convincing a lot of independents and some Democrats that he would deliver on jobs.

If it had been a civilized debate on the issues, probably Cruz.
But against the Marxist agitprop streetfight backed up by the Enemedia? No, probably not.
