[Vanity]Just a reminder of the cluelessness of the rejected one.

I stand in awe of how utterly punked Obama looks after President-Elect Trumps handling of Carrier.

Obama eating crow over Carrier deal?

And it makes me wonder how many opportunities were missed because of the incompetence of the dems. How many lives could have been made better? How much suffering around the world could have been avoided but for the shear magnitude of dem ignorance and apathy?

The dems are like the TV version of a cliche dumb mobster. They are both evil and stupid.

But I'm torn on this issue however...

Obama is not stupid. But the fact that he would not even speak to Carrier or any other company...didn't appear to even ask business people, at least make an effort, leads me to believe he did it on purpose. He WANTED those people to lose their jobs. Which leads me to believe he's evil. If you want to start a revolution against the current form of government, you can't do it when people are happy. You have to hurt them. Bring them low.

Judge Jeanine lays it out

Who cares what deal was made?!? SO WHAT!!?? 1100 people are not going on unemployment. Is anyone really going to try to make an argument that the US is going to hurt from the Carrier deal??

When the US government is throwing money out the window to line the pockets of dem supporters in scams like Solyndra, any criticism of President Trump is intellectually null and void. Just shut up, I don't want to hear it.

And as speaking as someone that has been, in the past, laid off from his job just before Christmas, I'd like to take this time to say to any dem or nevertrumper that just can't seem to find the good in what President Trump and Vice President Pence have accomplished here.... well I have this to say: Here's your sign.

Various mixtures of both.

If you spend anytime at DU this is the exact conclusion at which you arrive.

Except I would substitute "stupid" with "mentally ill". I'm not trying to be funny. Most claim to be educated and hold them selves up as if that means they are some how enlightened. At the same time they make the most illogical arguments and most are completely delusional.

They create a world in their own minds then convince themselves that that world is real. "Hillary Clinton is the most qualified....blah blah blah" -Twighlight Zone theme begins to play. Who says that with a straight face??!!??

"Anyone that voted for Trump is a racist!"... HUH??!!! What are you talking about??? How can that even be possible??

They lie to themselves as much as they do to everyone else.

How many lives could have been made better?

Well we’ve had 70,000 manufacturing sites that have closed in the USA so I will guess a lot. But I won’t put all this on the democrats. We have a lot of republican free “traitors” too.

What a petulant goofball punk with his crappy attitude. As if *any* explanation would satisfy his need to denigrate and demean America and American industry. No possible explanation would satisfy his profound intellect, would it? And of course, he would have the attention span to hear it out, wouldn’t he? Nobody has a better idea than he does, it’s just not possible. Nobody could ever have such a perfect record of never screwing up anything as our great exalted 0bama. It’s not possible to be better than perfect, is it?

He can’t be flushed fast enough.

The great thing about liberals, ultimately, is that the most highly educated among them think exactly the same as an urban crackhead.

Exactly.

Think of it this way: After the worst recession since the great depression, the dems enacted the greatest tax hike (Obamacare) in history. No wonder we have had years of sub par growth.

"But libs are howling over $7 mill tax break to save 1000+ jobs."

A $7 million state tax break.

Not a federal cent was involved, nor did President-Elect Trump have the authority to spend anything.

It's just more sour grapes from the party of sour grapes. LOL

As many have said before, BEST ELECTION EVER!!!

Every time you are tempted to type “incompetent” or “incompetence” concerning a Democrat, change it to “evil.”

“The $7,000,000 is over TEN YEARS”

I was wondering about that, thanks for the information. That means it was less than $1,000 per employee per year, when those employees are making an average of $70,000 per year.

I’d say that’s chicken feed...the economic result will far outweigh the tax credit.

As for DU I spend 0 time there.

I do... sometimes... just to satisfy a morbid curiosity.

But in all honesty, I leave before the headache starts. Because I can't figure those people out and it always leads to frustration and a headache. Trying to understand their logic is like trying to find the start and end of a doughnut.

I tried to read their site many years ago and, yes, it does literally cause a headache. And I rarely get headaches from any cause.

Incompetence? I think not. They were getting just what they wanted. They really thought they were getting control of the world by shoving America down the tubs to migrate all power to a super national organization, perhaps the UN and they thought they would then control the world. Perhaps they think they are allied with Soros. Soros probably sees them as minions and servants, though, rather than as allies.

Interesting that the left is counting that 7mil as a loss. Without it the company goes to Mexico and lots of tax on lots of personal incomes no longer flows to the government and the company does not support lots of small and large businesses in Indiana which pay less in tax to the federal government.
Compared to the money retained the 7mil is a small investment with a large return.

Anything to knock a Republican. It doesn’t have to make any sense whatsoever. It’s an Indiana state tax break too so Trump gave up nothing from the almighty Federal Treasury the left bows down and worships.

I’m wondering if President-elect Trump is onto something here. By subsidizing Carrier at a cost of $700 per worker per year the U.S. garners at least 10 times that amount in taxes paid by those same workers and keeps them off of the unemployment roles. Perhaps the PEOTUS should think about extending that plan to other struggling companies.

Wait a minute. As I understand the Deal, the State of Indiana will be providing $7M in state tax breaks. The Federal gov’t provides $0. And Indiana avoids having 1100-1200 people going on state unemployment at a 26 week cost of $13-14M unemployment benefits. Plus, Carrier will invest $16M in plant upgrades. Its quite common for states to grant tax subsidies to prevent companies from moving to another state, let along to another country.
