A-holes like this pastor are contributing factors in the left’s success in turning the culture. I wonder how he would feel about atheists dropping by Sunday school and telling the kids Jesus isn’t real?
Our firstborn figured it out on his own at the ripe old age of four. His mother and I were born again when he was two. We hadn’t made a big deal about Santa Claus before, and didn’t even speak of the tradition after that. But he still saw all of the “santas” while tagging along with his mother and grandma. This perplexed him: Why was there more than one? In fact why was there several in the shopping mall? And also others at the other stores across town?
Well, after seeing so many, he asked his grandma about it. She explained that the ones he saw that day were fake.
They came back to grandma’s house where his grandpa and I were, running in the house, laughing and happily telling us that “Santa Claus is fake!”
We didn’t try to change his mind after that day, and he turned out just fine.
He grew up learning that Jesus knows when we’re sleeping, and knows when we’re awake. He knows if we’ve been bad or good.
We taught him and his younger brother that Jesus is coming again,...through the air,....and that his reward will be with him.
I agree. I let others do as they wish.
I have been blessed with a family that completely respects our authority concerning our children.
I looked at your page, very nice portrait of your husband and son.
My father died at 47, twenty years ago Saturday. My mom was 46. She has never remarried.
I miss my dad, sometimes it seems like yesterday he was here and other days he seems like a dream that I had.
Great story .. you’re right, most children will accept the truth when they’re ready.
I believe my son already knew .. but he just wasn’t sure.
But, it was fun having someone to share the wrapping with.
Not to be a spoil sport but isn’t a little weird that people will defend a mythological creation...a fable...a myth...and try to get our kids to believe it’s more real then Jesus?
Brings to mind New York Sun’s reply to a little girl, “Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus.”
So ....you worked at Macys??
I had to skip work the next day.
Sounds like you'll have a short check this week.
WHAT?
Oh dammit - are you serious? No Santa?
But why would my wife make up a story like that?
This asshat was a security guard at Pantex ........ he was terminated about 8 years ago.
Same tard that burned a koran in a Amarillo city park.
He’s same guy who burned a Quran in a kids park a few years back. He worked at Pantex nuclear weapons facility about 8 years ago. A Guard . Now he just goes around trying to get punched in the noggin.
Let him burn a Koran and the muzzies will take care of the problem
“But why would my wife make up a story like that?”
My wife told me the same thing, but I know it’s true because I found a pair of boots and a belt next to our bed and they weren’t mine....
Someone needs to buy him Dale Carnegie’s book: How to Win Friends and Influence People. His methodology has the exact opposite affect of what he thinks he wants to accomplish.
Dude is a jerk and uninformed...
Christian Al Qeada wacko
Radicals are all the same
Dear Santa Claus haters, I owe my life to Santa.
On March 9th, 2009 I was in a coma for 6 months after a terrible car crash. One day my nurse turned the radio to Santas song.
So I got up, and turned the volume up.
