It’s always nice to have a tow truck on call when dealing with British vehicles.
Real trick or toy truck?
It’s a Range Rover, so it will certainly not be the last time it will be on a tow truck, where it will indeed still look good.
OK, now that is kewl!
Range Rover for Christmas WOW . My kids get clothes and some toys, and my wife swap five dollar gifts if we have that left .
My aunt still has a TR6 that she bought new. At least I think it was new.
I remember it looked really good sitting in the carport just about all the time. It ran sometimes though.
Lucas Electrical systems?
“My aunt still has a TR6 that she bought new.”
I’d love to have one. Wife wants an old Beetle, she’ll probably win out.
Let’s just hope the little kid’s toy Rover is Asian-made.
It’s slightly larger than the trucks 20” wheels, so it’s a toy made more impressive by being delivered on a tow truck.
The Silver Spoon is alive and well. I’m sure he’s a fine boy.
I don’t see her giving up the TR6.
I’m 99 percent sure she still has it.
My unfriendly 65 Willys jeep is enough entertainment.
Got 15 months on my rover, so far so good. Love the vehicle after coming from mostly German brands.
Maybe his toy has the authentic Lucus “Prince of Darkness” 3 position light switches. Off, dim and flicker. Or the option where when you turn on the turn signal, the sunroof goes back and forth also.
Even vehicles with the worst reliability these days aren’t that bad, and Chrysler-Fiats are much worse than the Brits. And all the Jaguar/Rover products are sex on wheels.
Ha, Ha, that’s funny, and so true. I had a Jag back in the day. I don’t think any car company can survive these days with quality problems, like back then. My current Range Rover is an awesome vehicle.
Had a 65 Spitfire back in the day. Turning the headlights on started the wipers, and turning wipers on started the radio.
Finally started rewiring it wire by wire.
Discovered that most of problems were caused by bad grounds to the chassis. They didn’t clean the paint off underneath the ground bolts and washers.
So any actual ground connection was hit or miss, and caused all sorts of crosstalking between accessories.
