The expansion of the Universe represents a lot of energy. Where did the energy come from? And don’t say from the Big Bang. That energy predates the Big Bang.

The Unmoved Mover needs no energy. At the big band, the universe appears to have sprung out from nothingness. Nothing, no space, no energy, no time, no anything. A complete void.

St. Thomas of Aquinas argued that what what we know of creation comes from what has been revealed of God’s will.
