Texas is a big place! Yes, but the speed limit on most four-lane state highways, and even some two-lane FM roads is 75 mph.

I will add, beware and follow reduced speed limits going through small towns and communities. Lots of opportunities for LEO gotcha!

You’ve got that right. We just drove non-stop from Flagstaff, Arizona, across to Houston. Didn’t think we’d ever get home. Lots and lots and lots of construction going on all around the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
