So guys, what's the over and under on Obama pardoning Hillary and/or Bill? Time is getting short. Then of course it may not be made public immediately.
Once Trump takes office, she knows she’s in danger of going to jail for her handling of the emails, not to mention whatever she might have done at the Clinton Foundation. And Bill is at risk there too.
I’m guessing they’re both lobbying like crazy for pardons, but what do they have that Obama wants? She failed to do the one thing he did want, i.e., win and protect his legacy.
I’d say chances are slim that he pardons either of them, but chances are good that they want one.
Lefties will never forgive her for losing to Trump. They are like that. I suspect he won’t pardon her.

For one thing, a pardon would remove Hillary’s Fifth Amendment protection. And it would forever shackle Obama’s legacy to Hillary’s criminal behavior.
He can pardon for Federal crimes but not for state crimes or international crimes. I think the Clintons may rival Bernie Madoff for chutzpah and deception.

I think you’re right. She isn’t convicted.
But that won’t stop Obama from preeminently pardoning her. Illegal or not, the press will claim it shall be and R’s will be afraid to go against it.

I’ll bet he pardons her Thursday night or Friday morning... some time it’ll be buried in the other news...
(Of course democrats don’t have to worry about this much because the press works with democrats to cover up what they don’t want covered...)

He could only pardon for crimes in the US. If he pardons her Haiti decides to bring charges there is nothing a President could do except deny extradition. If I were Trump I’d extradite

OBama didn’t PARDON Manning, but he did COMMUTE THE REST OF HIS SENTENCE. Either way, he’s free.
