Picture caught her wiping tears from her eyes during the song — a glimpse of her heart.
Do some research into the village where she was raised behind the iron curtain

Me, too. I even had a few friends on FB say I was being deceived. He would never get anywhere. You know what is funny? They all ended up supporting him.

I think a lot of us intentionally voted for someone who ‘wouldn’t put up with it’ - and I was glad to see the ‘shot across the bow’ on day one.

The media flat out —lied— about the attendance.

The issue is the —lying—.

And it’s about time the media got raked over the coals; which happened ...

The. Very. Next. Day.

Not ignored, like other presidents did.

W wussed out on that, and everyone lost (except the media)

She needs to set an example for kids by gardening with them, and doing the nae-nae on Ellen.

I did see her wiping a tear during the last verse.

It kind-of looked like Pence wiped a tear during “Great Is Thy Faithfulness”.

First of all, I'm not buying into this story. I never even heard of this outfit (Hollywood Take). Sounds like a gossip rag that housewives buy at the supermarket checkout along with their celebrity crossword puzzles and breath mints.

My opinion is that we aren't going to even be able to tell whether or not Melania and Barron are at the White House or at Trump Tower in NYC. I work near the Trump Tower and I can never tell if they are actually there or not and never see them coming or going. I was somewhat shocked to find out last week that Donald Trump had been leaving the Trump Tower in the late afternoon, doing a dinner event in Washington, and then coming back to Trump Tower. On Wednesday night, the night before he left the city for good, he took the jet to DC for a 40-minute dinner and then high-tailed it back for his last night in NYC.

Apparently it doesn't take very long for the Trumps to get around the country. They get the motorcades and as soon as they get on the plane, it's already cleared for takeoff. It takes me longer to get to my CT home from mid-town Manhattan than for the Trumps to get to DC! If Melania takes the helicopter direct from top of Trump Tower to the White House lawn, the commute will be just under 40 minutes. It's a manner of commuting I can't fathom but this is the level at which the Trumps operate. And they've been living this way since way before the presidential campaign.

We are never really going to know where Melania happens to be until she decides to make a public appearance. We won't know whether she came from the upstairs residence, the 40-minute trip from Trump Tower or even Mar-A-Lago which is less than 2 hours away from DC. Meanwhile, we can be assured that the President is going to be putting in 14-hour plus days for us and waking us up at 4 in the morning with his tweets!

The Trumps are not going to be your typical presidential family.

“When Caroline Kennedy was young”

The issue isn’t, can Barron live in the White House. The issue is, can Melania Trump live there?

Jim Noble,

An anonymous source.

Referenced when President Trump has been in office for only a little over two days.

Years ago, I took one of those public tours of the White House with my wife and kids. I was appalled at how shabby the craftsmanship looked on the walls and window frames.

"Appalled." Sounds like my mom. Not impressed at all. She first saw the WH in 1962, she was only a child but was shocked at how shabby it was inside! Dust, odor, and decaying drapes and carpets. I guess that was before Mrs. Kennedy got around to rehabbing it.

I've always wanted to tour it but I'm expecting it will be a disappointment. (Do they even have tours of the place?)

I toured it when JFK was still there. I believe they stopped tours after 9/11, and don’t know if they started them up again.

One thing that may surprise is that it’s small. The basic house was built for its original times.

I agree, they can “do it their way!” ... recall, during the campaign, he flew home every night. If he could he’d probably do the same from DC (it’s only a half hour flight in a military plane). I don’t think an adoring, relatively dependent woman would work well as a wife with President Trump.

But, realistically, the POTUS really has to stay and reside in the White House and he knew that (if he even considered it) when he decided to run. They will have lots of weekends and holidays in NYC and Palm Beach.

I did the public tour pre-911. Years ago. It was a group, guided through a portion of the White House, and kept away from living quarters and sensitive areas.

B4me - Are those "self tours" actually unguided? I imagine that if so, they are severely restricted to only a few areas.

I think fussing about the crowd size is a very bad early sign. Hopefully it gets better soon.

I think he was really complaining about the dishonest media again, as he has on many occasions. And they are dishonest. I think he needs to be more selective and let some of his spokesmen do more of the complaining, but the complaining is totally justified. The MSM is scum and they are his political enemy.

I agree, We have already had an unappreciative First Lady.

We need a First Lady who simply plays the part of wife and mother and that would be fine. She need not be public. She doesn’t have to ‘have a cause’. Her son and her husband can be her cause.

As for the boy. He is heading into sixth grade next year. Lots of kids going into sixth grade switch schools and enter Middle School. He can comfortably go to a top notch private School in DC.

He will adjust just fine.

I'm told Mt. Vernon is small too; that in the kitchen, Washington could have stood on one foot and touched the ceiling with the other foot.

In fairness my mom had an unusual upbringing, and until she actually earned a Girl Scout badge, she assumed from the images she'd seen that they were made of solid gold.

I was taught, "you want to be pleasantly surprised, go to the library." And so far this has been pretty good advice.

She and the whole family are making a big sacrifice to serve a needy Nation. I fell bad for them but am thandful they are doing it.

First ladies with a life really suffer in the White House role. The media is viscous.
