It's official. Hollywood has forgiven Mel Gibson.

The troubled actor/director earned serious Oscar love this week. His brilliant directorial comeback, "Hacksaw Ridge," earned nominations for Best Picture, Best Actor (Andrew Garfield) and Best Director.

After watching Signs the first time...I turned around and watched it an entire second occasion. The story-telling of this movie was five-star.

A great little movie is Tequila Sunrise, with Raul Julia, Kurt Russell and Michele Pfeifer.

Could not think of the title until I saw your post. It is such a little gem.......everyone is in their prime & the chemistry between Pfiefer & Gibson is electric. Need to see this again!

I saw Apocalytpo on DVD after I went to the Mayan city of Tikal in Guatemala. Gibson’s recreation of that civilization was amazing.

YES on “Signs.” Great movie! Loved it. Rewatched it many times. And “Payback”.....under-rated! What a great movie.
