I’ve wondered the same. But I’ve come to realize that many celebrities really do think they are better than the rest of us - better, smarter, above us, etc.

I’d like to think that if I had ever become a celebrity, I would thank my lucky stars and realize just how lucky I was to hit the celebrity lottery...because lets face it, most of these celebrities are nothing special - just had a lucky break. But who knows, maybe I’d be a fool too.

I've had some experience working with rich people, and my experience has been they act as if their IQ increases with the increase in their bank account.
