What is the chance Trump will begin "seeding" the fake news media in an effort to destroy their reputation and force them back to more legitimate and fair coverage?
And
Is it worth the WH holding a weekly presser to detail every fake news report aired by the media? This would serve a couple purposes. It would would continue to erode the credibility of the media AND it would sow doubt to the point they wouldn't know what story to run with.
Exposing the truth is far more effective and extremely embarrassing for the fakenews media. You become your enemy, then who can save you?
Hasn’t he been doing so since he entered the primaries?
A more valid question would be “should he stop?”
The answer to that would be “no.”

They seed their own newspapers with so much fake news there is no need for Trump to do anything except maybe sniff and say #stillfake

He does not need to “plant fake news”. And, it would be dangerous.
He simply needs to continue to expose the fake news that exists.
Sometimes I think he sets traps for the Establishment media, and they fall for it.
That is simply good strategy on his part.

The media needs no help finding fake news. However, they do not appear to be embarrassed.
Trump has no need to do that. He is an adult and a professional, the press are blithering idiots and compulsive liars...that is a KNOWN (with hat tip to Ruumsfeld :-)
That’s what I’ve been wondering. There seems to be even more fake news and unsubstantiated reports then ever.
First of all it’s a bad idea, and second there’s no need. They keep driving into concrete walls without any help from DJT.
The media should be exposed and mocked for their lies. Getting in the mud with them tarnishes you the same as them, but only yours will get reported..

I don’t think the people who listen to and believe fake news even care that it’s fake. It fits their agenda so what does it matter?
Sounds like a good idea to me.
Because after all this is an information war!
He could also flush out where the leaks are coming from.
The feds are such a mess he almost needs an internal investigation department.
