McDonald's has a traffic problem and its executives know it. Now they have a plan they think will turn it around.
The company lost more than 500 million customers to close competitors since 2012, Chris Kempczinski, McDonald's USA President told investors gathered in Chicago Wednesday.

What a great post! I only knew of the Grand Mac because my local NJ restaurant posted it on their billboard. I asked my husband and he shrugged. It was only thanks to the local NYC radio host, Mark Simone, who mentioned it in a positive way that I knew exactly what it was.
What’s wrong with Executive McDs? They’re as stupid as the old tobacco industry. Maybe more so. They are ashamed of their product, the stupid bastards!
Ugh...it just grates on me!
I see the potential in a variety of enterprises.
A convenience store in a bad neighborhood? There is nobody to rob. The goods are visible but unaccessible. You pay, it dispenses.
A warehouse selling a limited selection of goods. Again. You pay, it delivers.
A restaurant would require more personnel but they would be isolated from the public. Kiosk order/pay system only. Your order can be picked up through a tray system. Again isolating them from the public.
It's an idea for todays Democrat/thug/drug infused era.
I wish I could, but we don't have any in our area. The closest is in Syracuse which is about 45 minutes away.
That’s good to know!!
I’d like a stinking aching shake. I like vanilla- it’s the finest of the flavors!
This.
Exactly. They followed Burger kings lead and started advertising directed at minorities. In the drive thru windows they had pitches to give donations to minority charities. Turns out there aren’t enough minorities to sustain a business model. Just like target is learning there aren’t enough trans people to keep them afloat
Cant face a Big Mac meal more than once in a month.
But two $1 cheeseburgers for lunch?
Easy. No guilt.
But the prices REALLY have gone up by higher percentages...
The "McDouble," a double cheeseburger with a single slice of cheese used to be on the dollar menu. It's now a part of the "Pick 2 for $3 'Deal'" which works out to a 50% price increase. I will say though, the 2 for $3 deal on Egg McMuffins does work for me.

Tallow’s high in Vitamin D.
No wonder why we all now have D deficiency. It’s Mickey D’s fault!!!!!
Get rid of everything except the mcdouble, the fish, the coffee, and the fries. Add coke products if you must have softdrinks.
When given a choice between quality and cost - chose quality. Their food sucks, restaurant dirty and staff poor.
I used to get two of those for $1.49 each, for the past 18 months at least.
That’s 2.98 for two.
What were they before?
I guess it’s normal for pricing to be different in different parts of the country...
Around here, they were on the dollar menu - $1 each, before the “Pick 2 Deal” came out. Now they’re 2 for $3, a 50% price increase.

How about getting rid of the microwave ovens used to re-heat burgers and chicken and use a grill like it’s supposed to be used?
Their food literally tastes like card board. *yuck*
