I’ve noticed that people switch sides after elections. My brother(liberal) thought conservative conspiracy theorists were nuts but now he believes in those conspiracies because Trump is President.
On FR, many people who hated Clinton ended up hating GW. They left after the election. They simply hated the government.

As I noted, he - like most of those doing his shtick - will find the rare peanut. I wasn’t a fan to begin with - and when he went off on harassing Michelle Malkin at some left-wing rally, the sight of a big fat sweaty guy trying to intimidate a little slip of a woman was shameful and embarrassing.
