Loved up couples are going to the chapel...and then straight to the tattoo parlour, as the trend for getting etched after walking down the aisle grows. From matching diamond tattoos on ring fingers to inked drawings of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert, sharing an etching with your betrothed is hot to trot. Elsewhere, other smitten souls have had the date of their nuptials carved into their skin and even matching 'I do' tattoos writ large on their biceps.

Getting a blood-borne disease or needle-infection together.

How touching.

I never hired a man (or woman) who had a tattoo that was visible while wearing standard business attire.I don’t have the foggiest idea what tattoos,if any, those that I did hire had in places *not* visible.

Our 30th anniversary is tomorrow. Maybe I should suggest that we’ve got this “till death do us part” thing down and it’s time for shared tattoos.

I think the only matching stuff we ever had is matching sweatshirts we bought on our honeymoon. Maybe it’s time.

I wanted to get a tattoo in college but never did. Thought about it through the years, but now as I head deep into middle-age and my skin starts to sag...yeah, just as well I didn’t. People who get tattoos need to realize they won’t be young forever and relationships won’t last forever - that ink needs to be in a place you can hide, so the rest of the world can be spared your faded, wrinkled commemoration of your devotion to some ex you barely remember or Metallica back when they and you were young or Bart Simpson taking a leak.

I honestly have no idea why people think they look anything but trashy.

It doesn’t mean you are some tough or dangerous person since everyone from gay men to middle-aged women get them.

The real problem is the expectation that a man’s worth is based on how much he can spend on a shiny rock for a women that cant buy one on her own.

After Johnny Depp split up with Winona Ryder, Depp had a few letters expunged so his tattoo read ‘Wino forever’ instead of ‘Winona forever’. He saved some time and money that way. Always cracked me up.
