Had two 914/6 Porsches--one for show, and a subsequent one for racing. Both since sold, in favor of a 1991 BMW M3--also sold.
A Fort Lauderdale friend raced his 914 with a 2.7 engine in it. THAT was the way to go!

The six must have been fun. Alas I had the 1.7. It was still a blast and handled like a race car. (owning a Porsche is like having children, you don’t know till you’ve had one)
