World Leaders “Failed To Persuade” Trump To Stay In Paris Climate Agreement

Reuters is reporting that President Trump has not changed his mind on the Paris Climate Deal, despite hours of talks on Friday while at the G7 Summit in Italy.

Germany described the talks as “controversial.”

Check it out:

Meeting days after a suicide bomber killed 22 people at a concert in northern England, the leaders did issue a joint statement on fighting terrorism, admonishing internet service providers and social media companies to “substantially increase” their efforts to rein in extremist content.

Host Paolo Gentiloni, the prime minister of Italy, said the group was also inching closer to finding common language on trade, a contentious issue between Trump – elected on an “America First” platform – and the six other leaders. But leadership conceded there was no breakthrough on the climate issue.

“There is one open question, which is the U.S. position on the Paris climate accords,” Gentiloni told reporters, referring to a 2015 deal on reducing greenhouse gas emissions. “All others have confirmed their total agreement on the accord.” President Trump campaigned on ending the U.S. role in the Paris Climate Deal.

Energy Secretary Rick Perry signaled that the administration would uphold this campaign promise while at a G7 event in Italy earlier this year. The administration refused to sign a memo following the April meeting because they’d not decided yet on the Paris agreement.

More here (via Daily Caller): Secretary of Energy Rick Perry said the U.S. “is in the process of reviewing many of its policies and reserves its position on this issue, which will be communicated at a future date,” Italy’s industry and energy minister Carlo Calenda said in a statement.

Calenda said other G7 members “reaffirmed their commitment towards the implementation of the Paris Agreement to effectively limit the increase in global temperature well below 2°C above pre-industrial level.”

The Trump administration would not sign onto a statement mentioning Paris, since the president is still deciding whether or not to keep his campaign pledge. Perry also wanted the G7 to include support for coal and natural gas in its statement.

It is unconstitutional for the feds to agree to anything like the Paris accords since the feds have no constitutional authority to meddle in "climate" issues.

My climate change plan is for nations in Europe and elsewhere should refund their annual trade deficits to the US in hard currency, to pay US workers to make solar panels, windmills and stuff. Otherwise, they’re not serious about saving the planet.

We need to call/write the White House and let them know how important it is to us that Trump keeps his promise and gets us out of the POS Paris “Treaty”. Every day Ivanka and co. are pushing Trump to break this promise. To me it is one of the big ones. This Climate BS is one the left’s
weapon to get power and unlimited funding.

>> We need to call/write the White House

I occasionally get DJT text messages asking for support. It’s connected to the official campaign website. Not sure how to deal with that.

And even if the Senate ratified it, the ratification would be illegal and, therefore, null and void because it would be unconstitutional.

My climate change plan is to move where it’s between 75 and 80 degrees most of the year. Preferably near a beach.

Leaders do not knowingly allow terrorist to immigrate into their countries.

Leaders do not allow their citizens to join terrorists organizations abroad and then reenter their countries.

Leaders do not burden their citizens with unneccasary rulings restricting their energy use.

Leaders do not ignore ice core records that demonstrate the Earth has been cooling for 3,000 years.

These are not leaders and they do not represent the people of Europe. They are trying to kill the people of Europe.

Hopefully the Feds drive out Jarad, so that Trump can keep this campaign promise - it’s important to him, and it’s important to the country.

Good.

Unconstitutional laws based on false science aimed at oppressing the general population is legally and ethically obscene.

It would be unconstitutional because the Constitution gives the feds no authority to meddle in “climate” issues no matter how valid or loony the proposals are.
