“What would you prefer to read? Positive News on what President Trump is doing or the Negative Junk News?”
Objective news.
Sorry for text wraps, couldn’t preview before posting.
All you can really do is just try to infer the gist of what may have happened. I'm sure plenty of people here don't think that way, many of them say as much regularly believing complete and utter garbage so long as it sounds good for our side.
I try to stay away from the real crazy Salon garbage as much as possible. I also ignore the likes of Sean Hannity and the hardcore talking points cheerleaders. Not because I don't like them, it's just a waste of time. Otherwise I try to read both sides, but I do hardcore skimming since the agendas are so well known ahead of time it's not really necessary to read every word.
I mainly just like my news straight—little bias (when possible) and little cheerleading. I sometimes watch CNN just to see how much they are making a fool out of themselves. I usually watch Fox, but often get tired of the “Rah, Rah, Cheer” of people like Sean Hannity and others. Lately I’ve been watching One America News more often. It’s conservative and straightforward without the drama. It’s still rough around the edges, but it makes for a pleasant change of pace at times.
I’m old enough to remember when news reporting wasn’t an exercise in reader manipulation. Your question might be rephrased as ‘which manipulation do I prefer?’
Let’s start by taking all adjectives away from reportage.
I like the “Trump kicks Rat and RINO rump” articles.
Objective news. Stop sensationalizing headlines in order to get clicks. Stop writing headlines, Tweets, and articles in a hyperbolic, sensationalized way to further the hate mobs against the President. Be objective. Be fair. That’s all I want.
It is hard to find a lot of positive POTUS news, so if you don’t read the negative stuff, you will have a lot of time to whittle.
