He served our country honorably and I thank him for his service. However had he come out while he was in he would have been discharged. Transgender is classified as a form of mental illness. It is a policy of the military to exclude individuals who are not mentally stable because they can damage unit cohesion and are considered too high of a risk. What he has to say now is really irrelevant.
But everyone knows what happens when you pump men full of female hormones and it is totally incompatible with military service.
