I’m with ya there. Recruited a lot of girls growing up. Have had a great one for the past 19yrs. Boy did I get the better part of that deal!!!
Did the same with my oldest boy years ago. The foundation of truth from God is just that. The progressives love to twist the truth to destroy our culture.
Both organizations have become fetid rotting corpses, liberal to their cores.
Children get enough liberal indoctrination.
I’m a scout leader down here in Australia. Our scouts are integrated (boys and girls). Having seen both the BSA and Scouts AU, I do have a preference for single gender scouts.
I’m well aware of the problems with the Girl Scouts and how they are basically a left wing indoctrination organization run by lesbians (individual leaders are most likely fine, it is organizational leadership that is the problem).
Instead of recruiting girls into the BSA (btw, both of my sons are Eagle Scouts from the BSA), why doesn’t the BSA start-up Girl Guides (this was the female version of scouting started by Lord Baden Powel and his wife). Keep it similar to the BSA and integrate the two groups on acceptable activities.
I.e. Classroom type activities, camps with defined separate lodging area, abseiling, rock climbing, specific social events.
Larger group when wanted, separation when appropriate. Girl Guides are already international. Do easy to implement. Helps to defeat Girl Scouts that have lost their way.
