Obama’s birth certificate had already been authenticated and verified by the Republican Administration of Governor Linda Lingle, years before Democrat Neal Abercrombie became governor.

The Constitution in Article IV gives states the authority to determine the validity of their own records under the “Full Faith and Credit Clause.”
Article IV, Section 1.
“Full faith and credit shall be given in each state to the public acts, RECORDS, and judicial proceedings of every other state. And the Congress may by general laws prescribe the manner in which such acts, records, and proceedings shall be proved, and the effect thereof.”
From a purely legal standpoint, this issue was over on October 31, 2008. From a political standpoint, it lives on in zombie form!
Maybe the investigation was a ruse. Maybe Governor Choom realized they’d need a more maleable HD, and that Fuddy was ideal. So he needed an excuse, found one, and from his POV, it all worked out.
I will say this for you. Your love and adoration of politicians never wanes. People point out that politicians are crooked and lie. You just shrug it off. In your world, if politicians speak, objective truth has been delivered.
That pedestal you have politicians on must be pretty high. No wonder you frequent moonbat sites. It all adds up.

I’m o.k. with being in agreement with the president. As a private citizen businessman, albeit one with tremendous financial resources, he had his investigators look into the issue over five years but ultimately they came to a definitive conclusion.

Here is an interesting time line. On Jan 19, 2011, Abercrombie tells his friend, Mike Evans, that no Obama BC exists. Here’s Evans recap:
“There is no Barack Obama birth certificate in Hawaii, absolutely no proof at all that Obama was born in Hawaii.” After Abercrombie made such a fuss about finding the birth certificate, Evans concluded of his friend that he has “got some egg in the face.”

At about the same time, here’s Abercrombie’s public statement:
“Our investigation is showing, it actually exists in the archives written down,” Democratic Gov. Neil Abercrombie told Honolulu’s Star-Advertiser.
A week passes. Then Palafox abruptly withdraws his nomination, and professes complete ignorance as to why. Governor Choom lied and said it was Palafox’ doing, but Palafox says he was told to withdraw and given no reason.
What happened during that week? Fist, Mike Evans was all over the place with his big story. He later claimed he’d misunderstood, but that explanation is as convincing as Obama claiming Ayers was just some guy in the neighborhood. Abercrombie had leveled with Evans; he’d simply expected his friend to keep his mouth shut.
What else happened was that after Evans told his story (iirc, 27 times), Governor Choom and his minions realized they’d need to act. Obama’s ‘vault copy’ BC would need to be produced. Also, they’d need a HD who wouldn’t balk at calling a newly fabricated BC the vault copy.
Exit Palafox; enter Fuddy.

Your biggest problem is that you compartmentalize. As with all Obots, you treat everything in a vacuum. You lack the intellectual capability to collect ALL the facts re to Obama’s birth and evaluate them as a whole.
As a result of this deficiency, you will always be proof texting your little talking points, focusing on a few trees and never coming close to seeing the forest. Iow, you cannot integrate a broad range of facts. You can only focus on one point at a time, and even then not from a critical rational POV. Your focus is entirely rote. You trot out one little proof text, and then another. The truth will elude you forever.
None of your childish attempts at insults alter the facts. A businessman, not a politician hired investigators who had five years to produce the proof.
Can you imagine how difficult it must have been for Donald Trump, who truly despises Barack Obama, to sit and watch Obama look him in the face and make jokes about him being a birther at White House Correspondents Dinners? And then for Donald Trump to say that Obama was born in the United States?
If there was ever going to be an official resolution of this issue as an Article II, Section 1 constitutional question, who besides politicians (I’m counting federal judges as politicians) could have resolved it?

You mistake facts for insults. You do NOT integrate all the facts and evidence. [Don’t feel bad; no other Obot does, either.] You’ve never brought ALL the issues re Obama’s birth together into one place, analyzed them and posited the likeliest explanation.
Not only have you never done so; you can’t. Your mind doesn’t work that way. If prevented from taking each item individually and proof texting it in a vacuum, you lose your equilibrium. You lash out and change the subject.
The first step in determining the overwhelmingly most likely location of Obama’s birth is to amass everything we know in one place. Obots can’t do this. It’s too threatening. Dealing with each issue in a vacuum is their safe space. Being confronted with all the evidence at once merely short circuits their minds. They change the subject, toss out an insult, and move on.

Except years before Evans’ alleged comment, a copy of Barack Obama’s birth certificate was posted online for the whole wide world to see. The original vault edition was verified by the state of Hawaii on October 31, 2008, three years before Evans’ alleged comment.

And here he is on Peter Boyle’s show saying he never talked to the governor only the governor’s office.
Do you have a link where Abercrombie said he was going to release the birth certificate? I only have links to him saying he would not ask Obama for permission to release the birth certificate. Abercrombie could not release it without Obama’s permission. In fact, Abercrombie as governor can not even view a birth certificate without permission of the person named on the certificate.

Evans made multiple statements. He himself admits that he stated, in at least one, that it was Abercrombie himself who told him there was no BC.
Evammsl treated it as big news. Thomas Lifson did the best job of summarizing the aftermath. He said it sounded like Evans was trying to put the toothpaste back in the tube.

In the Boyle’s interview he said he hadn’t talked to Abercrombie since the 2008 inauguration.
Evans also said he spoke to Abercrombie himself.
Look, you are an Obot. Cherry picking quotes is what you do. Evans behaved like a reporter who was given a scoop. Then he tried to take it all back. You’re going to believe whatever enables you to go on defending Obama. Just understand that not everyone is going to subordinate everything to the goal of supporting Barack Hussein Obama. That is the province of Obots.
