It is the advertising, not the cigs, that are targeting blacks.
Unless there are stores that only offer menthols to blacks, her argument is moot. Blacks have as much of a right to select which brand they want to purchase as other ethnic customers do.

I read a study one time that 80% of black smokers smoke menthol and 80% of white smokers smoke non-menthols.
I found that quite an astounding correlation given that was never one of the racial stereotypes I heard growing up.
