I read a study one time that 80% of black smokers smoke menthol and 80% of white smokers smoke non-menthols.
I found that quite an astounding correlation given that was never one of the racial stereotypes I heard growing up.
I learned about it by working at a drugstore for a while. Black customers almost ALWAYS bought Kools. I think they just liked to say "Kools."
