Cuyahoga Valley National Park. It's a densely forested valley in which remnants of the lock system of the Ohio Canal, the partner of the Erie Canal that connected New York with the Ohio, Mississippi, New Orleans and the Gulf of Mexico in the nineteenth century, thus uniting the middle and south of the country with the northeast remain.
I live within a couple miles of the park and it's wild enough that we have beaver dams, wolves, great blue heron nesting sites, and white tail dear who show up in small herds crossing our lawn. There are even rumors of Sasquatch sightings, although I've never seen one.

Don’t know. Last year they went to the Seventh game of the World Series with almost no one left on the team. Literally 2 starters and a minor leaguer to pitch and two guys in the bullpen. Thank God for Miller!
They just ran out of tools. This year they are restocked, the injuries are ending and they have done most of this without some of their best assets including Miller and Kipness.
Anything can happen in the playoffs though! They where 3-1 on the Cubs and lost it all in extra innings.

20 is the longest in the expansion era (since 1961.) But the record is 26, by the New York Giants in 1916.

We (Mrs. henkster, my sons, daughter in law & I) went to Cleveland for a quick weekend trip back in July. Went to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame on Saturday, and had dinner at Great Lakes Brewing Company at The Flats, and then on Sunday went to Mid Ohio for the Indycar race. It was a nice trip and we had a good time.
FWIW, Great Lakes Brewing Company has some of the best beer I’ve ever had.

I would love them to change the team to the Cleveland Caucasians and have them all dress in fake business suites with white socks and pocket protectors. Something tells me that white people wouldn't care. After all, they are the only people in the World who can be called awful names and be discriminated against for their skin color
Hey the gays don't complain about the packers!
BTW I love all those hats and would love to own each and every one of them.

I got in a debate with someone about the name of the Washington football team. He said, “If they were called the Washington Honkies, you’d be offended.”
I said I wouldn’t. He insisted that I had to be. “Why?”, I asked.
“Becasue it’s offensive.”
“I know that, but why does that mean I have to be offended by it?”
“Well, you would be.”
“I choose not to be.”
Then he called me a racist.

Remember when someone started a team called the “Fightin’ Whities” (to show us what it felt like)? A bunch of shirts were sold — virtually all to white people. Then they disappeared from the market.

The Indians are a good damn team.
Tito Francona is one of the greatest managers in baseball history, the 2011 Red Sox collapse was a minor blemish.

Thanks for the info. My wife and I are determined to see all of the national parks.
A daunting task to say the least.

Very few. Many are Latin ballplayers and are thrilled to be here. Lots of quality people on that team.

Bald eagles proliferate. There is also a documented return of the indigenous river otter, hunted to extinction in the state last century. They thrive on fresh clean water and abundant fish. Yes, in the Cuyahoga River.
